What's there to be jealous of? That someone made that much off of selling one? Why would I care about that?

I just think it's lame that every time someone buys something for far more than someone else, they're suddenly an "idiot" because they have more cash to spend.

Would it have been better if I had called them lazy? I mean, just a little bit of shopping around would've gotten it for a couple hundred less.

Here let me fix my original statement:

Holy moly, who is not a very smart shopper and bought one for $870? :lol

Doesn't really matter. That individual paid what he felt it was worth to him. Just like the Freaks who paid $1k for a Joker head. I think the only time it should become an issue is when they're _____ing about something being too expensive after having dropped that much cash on a custom piece.

Wow 'nam you really woke up on the wrong side of the cage fighting ring:)

Okay. Then, I'm sorry that you take offense to the fact that I think that the person, who bought one for far over what the average reselling price is, is none too bright.

... Did I win this argument yet? I'm trying really hard here. :D

No, I'm not mad, but if you're looking to start ____, well, you might find yourself on the wrong end of an infraction. :wink1:

:lol Maybe he just logged on and bought the first one he saw? How many times have you stumbled into a store and bought a toy on an impulse buy only to discover you could've had it for considerably less elsewhere? Doesn't make him an idiot. :huh

Well, yeah, I suppose if the buyer was a newbie to eBay. Then, in that context, you are absolutely correct. In that case, they're just not experienced/educated in the ways of shopping there. However, I cannot in good reason imagine a person frivolous with money enough to not look around at least a little.

With that, I sadly must adjourn. Time to turn my brain off for the day. I'll read your next reply tomorrow, and I look forward to that. :duff

gryphx doesn't start ____. :lol

Speaking for myself, I would be a moron to spend that much money on a statue. I don't begrudge anyone who has the money to do it though. I'd even congratulate someone who didn't have the money normally, but saved for it when the only option left was triple retail. I, however, lack that kind of capacity for extravagance.

you got it!:wink1: I get into enough arguments with people in front of my face to have to do it to words on my screen! I love all you geeks out there! As much as I looooove exclamation points!!!!!!!!

Mine arrived.

She is worth every penny and there is no way I am going to part with it . . . for the time being.

;)

This is my first "VAMPIRELLA" collectible and I am very pleased. She's a superb addition to my small, but slowly growing collection of comiquettes, PFs, & statues.

That sucks. That's right there in front too. Looking at mine, there's a nice even paint app along the tentacles. Seriously sucks. If it were in the back I wouldn't mind. Sucks that they didn't make the base detachable. They'll have to replace the whole thing. I'd attempt to get it replaced if that were mine.
