Sideshow Wolf Predator Mask - Rusty Lenses

Let me know how you get on, mine is barely there so I don't feel the need to do much at this point but I may have to clean it up down the line. Never heard of simple green however.

To be honest the last thing you want to do it put water on it, I have no idea why they would say that. Simple green is not for rust either and may react with the metal, I know it does on Aluminum. It sounds like they thought you meant cleaning the mask, not the rust on the metal. I would hold off and ask them again if you don't want to try what I recommended.

I've had a go guys... I took my own initiative and bought some extra fine sand paper, created a home made sanding stick and guess what... It has got the metal lenses pretty much back to normal with minimal rust in sight

Not really, once the DX version came out these dropped about half their value. Used to be close to $1000. Last NIB one I saw sell on eBay went for under $500

The DX version is shrunken recast though, this is from the ADI mold, hard to compare, I got my SS wolf after that released I'm sure and it was still hard to find and expensive as heck. I love it all the same though.

The SS wolf is definitely the better mask in my opinion and I had both the DX and the SS at one point. There's something about the sideshow version that oozes perfectness...
The DX version offered a lot more in the sense of the detail inside the mask which was a great attribute and I openly say that if sideshow put half the effort into bios like the guy with the DX did then we would have some truly magical people!!
I have the HCG P1 Bio on the way and CANNOT WAIT TO WALL MOUNT THAT SWEET THING!

The wolf is by far my most favourite predator merely because he's complete and utter bad ***... From his looks to his weaponry! But the P1 will always hold a special place with me as it's the P1 who got me in to this financial mess with all the Collectibles

I'm sat here watching AVPR and is it just me or does anyone else 'jump out of there seat' at the wolfs raw in the electricity plant because he's frustrated that an alien out did him and has damaged his leg!!! Gotta love the wolf!!!!!
