I just hope Sideshow is ready to deal with the folks at the show who are not all keen on the online stuff but are used to being able to PO anything on the floor right there at the show. "Wait List? What? What do you mean this is SOLD OUT???" I wouldn't be surprised is this new format is one-and-done. :lol

If that's the case, these people are really missing out the other 51 weeks of the year.

Walking into the Sideshow booth was ALWAYS a treat filled with lots of neat surprises, ala Tom's "Christmas Morning" allegory. That is gone now.

That really must have been amazing for you guys to show up at SDCC's booth and to be assaulted with not only the revelation of tons of awesome product, but to be seeing them in person no less.

My lighest year of ordering from SS thus far -

1) Pterodactyl

2) German Paratrooper PF

Not so much an issue of not seeing the pieces as I order (just not a lot of interest in the licenses), but the in-person effect can't be denied.

Not been there yet so won't be able to comment or vote on this one. But just seeing it on the website and reading about it feels that it will be very interesting.

I don't know if I'm picking up anything from the SS booth this year. I was dismayed last year when I found out the Conan EX that I payed full price for could be had for a discount with free shipping. Also, the Luke and Han Stormtroopers turned out to be major flops, thank god I canceled.

This year my for sure grabs are the GG Pan's busts and the NECA GOW Jace figure. I'm also on the prowl for some good art.

Disclaimer: This is in no way complaining about the actual Conan PF. It kicks ass.:rock

I guess this makes it easier on them. They don't have to display or take orders for any of the exclusive items, because they will all be sold out by the time the show starts.
