Yeah, the Crystal Skull shirt is made much better. There's no funky split on one side of it. Its tailored much more realistically.

I got mine through the post a while ago. Only just got round to checking it out. I straight away placed everything on a narrow shoulder True Type body. Here are a few photo's of it after the quick alteration.

Awesome pic Tyler. Indy standing tall and lean with the TT narrow looks PERFECT. Will definitely do this for both my KOTCS Indy's!

I have only done a very quick change over right now. I pulled the bar bell joint out of the bottom of the Truetype legs, and pushed the Sideshow feet with original post into Truetype legs. It does fit, but it makes him taller than a proper conversion.

Thanks.
As I just posted above though, he is a little to tall due to a very quick swap to the Truetype. He stands taller than my other Indy which was converted properly, so I will be doing it properly at some time to make him match my other Indy.

Cheers

Here are my contributions to the thread..

I've swapped the body out to a narrow shoulder truetype with extra padding around the girth. I didn't really have much of a problem with the Pro - I like the way it slouches, although the deathly pallor is annoying.

The rucksack is cannibalised from two Dragon WWII rucksacks.

Amazing work.

Man, there are some great improvements to this figure in this thread! I decided to sculpt a neck and recast the head in semi clear. The hat paintjob is just a base coat, but I'll get to it soon. This is such a cool sculpt, it really is a joy to paint. Let me know what you guys think of the start!

best,
Nathan

That looks cool. The re-cast seems to have reduced the size of the head, is that the case?

Could you give some more details about what you did to achieve that and what is semi-clear?

Thankfully, the head is now slightly smaller due to the use of the clear plastic (smooth-on 326) which gives off a lot of heat and shrinks a bit and the fact that i put MEKP in it to further reduce it's size. Adding the neck also makes it somehow a little less bobble headed which was my aim. Trevor's sculpt is so nice, I felt the whole thing could be a tad smaller to match the previous Indy head size. After the pour, which was also flocked with purple and blue micro flock to provide veins etc, I used pastels and dullcoat between layers to get the different skintones. The neat thing about tinted plastics is that if you overpaint something like the eyes for instance, you can literally scrape it back to okay and correct your screwup. Now to finish that hat!

That is great. I would love to see al the indy line done like that- like what DID is doing. Please put this on the Pro so we can see the difference in the hs size.

Thanks guys for all the compliments. Honestly, I think this is a better sculpt than the raiders one, which kind of rattles my chain as we all know which was the better film. I hope the line continues and have a little hope that it might. If so, it would be great to get more Harrison Ford expressions in the line so one could kind of head swap like they do nowadays with stop motion puppets. For my mine car, i've been wishing for a head that had that anguished expression he has in Doom where basically his feet are on fire. The more Harrison sculpts with character the better, I say!
By the way, I have no true type to pose him on Dark Wing. Wish I did!
I'd love to have that new body with the neckpost added but that would mean less top ramen for my cupboard....
