Rogue Trooper
Super Freak
I wondered why there was no stuble on the neck usually a sideshow trademark.
If it is a new body, I hope Sideshow updates ANH Luke and Han with this before they hit production.:chew
mostly due to lighting and the more subtle mustache of the digital paintup. If light doesn't catch Ford's upper lip, he goes wonky. ( by upper lip I mean the whole area between his nose and mouth.
We chopped the neck too, so that comes into play. the neck tapered too much before because of the Buck body attachment, but it did address the look of how the muscles run up to Ford's head (the sternomastoid muscles) the sacrifice will be worth it for a more poseable head.
Trev
Trev pretty much confirmed it in the indy board. it is a two part neck.
IF the neck joint is compatable with the neck adapters from hot toys
sideshow heads can be adapted to fit these with a bit of hot glue in the neck hole.
If that's the case, I Will switch my bodies out.
Oh I agree whole heartedly, but A better body, even without the double neck makes me happy.
this also makes me wonder abouththe clone trooper shilouette on the toyfair page.....
I don't wonder, as Medi's already previewed it and it hasn't gone for order, but I'm also hoping that Sideshow's first Trooper be something more interesting than the AOTC armor, since ROTS offers some really neat designs to make a bang with unveiling their first armored figure.
I still think Biker Scouts will be the first troopers we see. They look simpler than normal Stormtroopers and will go with the Rebel Soldiers.
it's funny... just as I'm thinking about resculpting my HT Superman Returns figure to turn the double neck into a single one more like Sideshows (losing the flexibility... but gaining a more realistic shape) .... Sideshow start doing their figures turning their single neck into the double one
