Unfortunately... yes. As I have been known to say, Comic-Con organization is like dealing with a newborn ;) :duff

I feel for you then. I've already been throug hthat twice and now we just got a puppy and I've been getting up a couple of times at night to take him out too.

Can someone tell me how to put a gift card in your wallet? The online kind, I know how to put an actually card in my actual wallet.

Dusty or Chicky, I have a question: I have a $75 GC and it shows up as $75 on the gift card redeem thing but when I try to check out with a gift card item an error message comes up. Does that mean it's in somebodies wallet and I missed out on it? Hopefully it doesn't but I'm afraid it does.

Heads-up! Apparently Chris has now foiled everyone and if a gift card is saved in your online wallet as of today, it will be unable to be shared with others. (I'm still gonna check about that 'delete' button, in case you got multiple codes "accidentally" - ha! - and want to share them)

If the reason to give out gift cards is to move out product that has stopped selling , and these codes are locked up in peoples' accounts that will never use them...? Seems like a bad business decision to lock the codes into accounts instead of allowing the people who have them to disperse them. Let's pray for the 'delete' button.

Actually the codes were supposed to be one per person. There is no reason for people to have multiple codes within their wallet from the same promotion unless they were 'mining' for better codes. The system won't let them redeem multiple codes form the same promotion so why try and get multiples? IN doing so, they thwarted other new and returning users from getting the codes in the proper fashion. There is no reason to 'share' the codes with others when we were dispersing them to collectors in a fair manner. People are still allowed to use one code from the promotion they were participating so they still benefit from the savings. The others codes will be locked and invalidated.

question, now that the codes are in the wallet, are they safe from reuse or from being re-given out?

I believe so. I checked a card this morning and while it said it was still at full value, at checkout it stated:

"The code 'XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX,' is not able to be used with this account. It is restricted to only the account for which it was created."

Keep in mind making multiple accounts in our system to be able to use multiple cards from the same event is a NO-No.:gah: We are manually reviewing all orders and are removing discounts and disabling accounts of people breachin' the rules!

Let's Play Nice so we can do more of these fun events in the future!
