This is like Darth Maul / Jabba the Hutt excitement for me.

Me too. I am also curious to see how the servers handle the new PPO style.
I'm not sure what my prediction is on the PPO; for sure this will be a popular set, but I'm not sure how in demand the Exclusive will be, I have a feeling many will be turning to secondary market for better pricing.

I was thinking the same thing about the exclusive. It's nice, but not a must have. Some electric bolts that attach to the hands would of been nice:emperor
I didn't, the first Luke was supposed to be him. I fixed it, but I see others did too.

STUNNING!!!! I am SO glad to see Palpatine featuring his "arrest/reveal" red robes. Outstanding! I can't wait to pose him with his back to Anakin..."Are you going to kill me?"
I LOVE the statue. My one hope is that someday Sideshow does a life-sized version of it.
Sidious is fantastic too...I know alot of folks are disappointed that there is no "force-lightning" accessory, but I for one am glad Sideshow skipped it...it would have looked toy-like and hokey. Besides...gives our brilliant resident artists something to create when he arrives on their workbenches (and I'm looking forward to that)...
It is impressive that the set will feature BOTH lightsaber hilts...a very cool touch.
My only (slightly) negative comment...while the photos are terrific, I'm still amazed that a little more futzing isn't done with the intricate costumes before placing these before the lens. Sideshow has had the figures looking their best at the various shows over the summer so it's a bit of a surprise to see the this set photographed with wrinkles and creases on the costumes. I know the features on the red robes (especially the "cross across the chest" feature as well as the shoulder sashs themselves) can stand out better than they do with a little more care and straightening than they show in the photos. But this is just a little gripe...we'll futz these two into perfection when they arrive!
Looking forward to this one Sideshow... they look amazing....thanks!

I don't know why the heck Sideshow didn't unleash this bomb at SDCC! It would have equaled, if not topped Jabba! Oooh I would have loved to see these two then!
