If it were bigger I would have been more inclined to keep my order; as it stands it wasn't too hard of a choice ------ well that and it being PT. :p

I'm kind of glad its on the smaller size. It doesn't take up too much room and I can get a good priced case for it. Jabba and the throne all ready dominate one corner of my "toy room" so I need smaller stuff.

Same here (for my office I mean). My collection is divided between my office (here at home) where Jabba, the PF's, and the dios reign supreme while the rest of my 1/6 SW collection (along with Bond and LOTR etc) are downstairs in my tv room. I love the visual that the sheer size of Jabba provides, and having all of my PF's along one wall-- but I've put this dio next to my 1:1 Yoda while the Anakin vs. Obi one is in a really neat wall space (used to be a hidden mini closet that I opened up). I'd like to get a case for this special collectible.

Yep, I agree... it will increase after all these flipers are out. And I plan on keeping mine anyway and I should be getting a case for mine soon. I found that football helmet cases are just about the right size for this too and there is a guy on ebay selling acrylic cases for $47 delivered but I want to wait until the strike is over to buy one. :)

Thats what I was thinking I don't need the money right away so I'm waiting to sell mine. I only have a few SW statues so this one doesn't seem to fit in. Its a really nice statue though.

It must feel good to have one of those token SSC products that goes up in value, even if its got one of SW's all time lame characters. :)

when I look at my faux bronze, I see so many other things... :monkey1

Such as the symbol of Lucas pandering to millions of fan boy geeks by turning Yoda into the Tazmanian devil only to have him go back to his walking stick? :lol

:lol Touche!

I'm just having fun with y'all. I'm not happy SSC takes the route to make super rare items only because I fear I'll be on the outs when they make one I actually want.

As it is, I can't think of something as horribly perfect to make a rare item of than this ridiculous scene, from such a disasterous movie, in this atrocious format. :monkey1

But when I'm on the outs for my Ice Cream Maker guy (edition of 5) I will truly be grumpy prog.

I think the bronze decision was probably based solely on the excellent execution of Tevor's sculpt... not necessarily the content of the scene. I dont see it as being any kind of an iconic scene either,.

Exactly. IMO the bronze is supposed to make it look iconic and sophisticated and something "built to last", yet the scene itself is the most pandering, unsophisticated and ridiculous of scenes which made me laugh more than anything else.
