Silent Hill PVC Statues/Figures (Toymunkey/Gecco)

well looks like they are all sold out at bbts exept for robbie. anybody know weather they will be making more. and what other places besides ami ami sell these things?

I'm wondering where BBTS gets their stock from & if there's going to be any issues with the Toymunkey/Gecco split.

Other than AmiAmi, I know Big In Japan carries them. Nippon Yasan and Hobby Search may but I'm not 100% on that.

apparently bbts takes stock from anyone. i preordered a set of metal gear solid udf figures from '08 that were a "reissue". when i got them they were a brand new set of bootlegs from china. im mailing them back to them tomorrow when i get out of work. oh, and they scalp and are more expensive than nearly everyone else.

Ouch, that's awful.

I've never actually ordered from them as of yet since I've heard CS-related horror stories. I always end up just importing since sometimes it ends up being cheaper in the long run (strange but true).

That is just inappropriate. I know some of the folks over at BBTS and they are NOT more expensive than everyone else. Their shipping is great, you can combine shipping, and their return policy is great. if you have an issue you should talk to them not start spreading negative information. I am certain they are unaware that your items were "bootlegs"!

that's a bit melodramatic. has absolutely nothing to do with my handling anything. I'm sure if you heard someone saying negative things about a friend of yours, things that you haven't witnessed personally, you'd step in a say so. However, you do as you must for what's best for you. Cheerio!

Looks like Gecco did indeed cancel their distribution contract with Toymunkey. Toymunkey really dropped the ball on this one.

From what I've read recently, that indeed is the final paint. Being a huge fan of SH3, I was never that impressed with the headsculpt anyway, but that's not to take away anything for the craftsmanship involved. The final paint app seems a bit worse, but I'm assuming nothing some paint touch ups couldn't fix.
