Nathan, just wanted to say thanks again for the great Deckard paintup you did awhile back. I finally finished (for now!) my Deckard and setup.

Looks incredible, probably my favorite Deckard out there with that combo of sculpt/paint/clothing/accessories :rock

It's hard for an artist to imagine getting better because we always try our best, but then we look back and see that we did get better along the way. Who knows?

I hear that from their own point of view an artist's current work never gets better, just their old stuff keeps getting worse!

Thanks Marf, a long quest for that one. As soon as I saw buddylees sculpt, I had to have Nathan's paint on it. One big part of a winning combo. :)

I know exactly what you mean :exactly: When a sculpt comes along that is of a certain quality and importance to me, my mind now shoots straight to Nathan.

Agreed with the last two posts - I've had a nice unpainted 1/4th sculpt I've been sitting on for close to 3 years, and I refused to get it painted until I found someone I would be comfortable with, as it's a bit of my dream piece and I don't want to just "have it painted."

Looking through this thread and seeing this quality of work, I know whatever wait I'm going to be stuck with will be worth it. What's another 3 years?:lol

Equally as true. However, there's an increasing gap between what I look back on as not so good and what I look back on as "yep, that still rocks". I really have to thank all the Freaks here, as well as Sideshow, for keeping me busy and constantly challenged for the last two years. I was gifted by God with an eye for detail and cursed with a perfectionistic attitude, but if not for all of you, I would be this "talented".

"Success is 10% inspiration and 90% persperation." Thanks for the sweat, Freaks!

Whats up with the mad face am I really that annoying?:dunno

He was talking about the possibility that you and Nathan are the same person.

I think you are really that annoying though. :lol :wink1:

Did you wink because you were just kidding? Seriously though, is it because I ask to many questions? What is it? :dunno

I've got nothing to add. I'm too busy ROTFLMAO. :rotfl

Another reason this forum is the best on the net.:clap

When you do get to my custom I just wanted to know if it would be possible to make the predators damaged shoulder interchangable to a healed one to where I can have a choice to display him in damaged form or healed form?

Before you and I move forward with anything, I need you to purchase and read this book first.
