That Alien is just epic... :bow

Funny story, when I saw the pics I instantly wanted to touch the head and just touched my screen. This looks really like it is freaking alive... So many shades, circles, skin depth if it makes any sense... :bow

I really hope you will reopen the commission window one day... I would be more than honored to have a SilentSurfer in my collection...

Thanks guys. I've gotten quite a bit more work done on it and think I can have it done in 2 or 3 more wittings (whenever those happen). I don't see a problem now getting it done before Prometheus.

Anybody willing to sell me their SOTA PumpkinHead? It doesn't matter if it's used, and I don't need the box. I just want it for a good price, not the $150 eBay price. I really want to do an excellent repaint on it cause the production paint apps sucked so badly and I never bought it, but I love PumpkinHead.

Is the offer to PM you requests open to everyone?

I would really like you to paint two heads for me.

Hey bud, got the Zoe you painted for me in the mail yesterday, Pictures do not do it justice seeing it in hand!

Thank you again for the amazing art.

No worries, brother! I was hoping you didn't mind! I'll post a short video too. If you don't want it here, of course you can get rid of it, but I thought you might appreciate it. Just my way of sharing and giving thanks and credit to everyone involved with this terrific custom! :hi5:

That head looks simply unbelievable, it is hard to think the HT Marty will look any better, even with those trademark HT paint apps. The sculpt and paint are just so perfect on this. The video makes one of Marty's eyes look like it is a bit wonky/lazy, but I think it's just the macro lens and the angle it was shot at. Lucky man to have that completed Marty in your collection, and to have the two top artists on these boards - Rainman and SS (and Eric Sosa's home run too) - doing amazing work!:clap

Part of the problem is the slightly uneven setting of the eyes on this sculpt. And sometimes the shape of the eyeball sculpt can affect how the iris painted on it looks. But I always do my best to paint my irises to look proper from the angle they are looking directly at. Here's another pic of emarae's Marty head that I painted. The shape of the eyeball and the slightly higher position of the right eye on the face is distorting the gaze a bit, but both eyes are looking in the right direction when not in Macro.

Its actually not uncommon for people to have one eye slightly lower than the other. Whether thats true of Michael J Fox I don't know. Looks kinda odd on the sculpt I suppose but its still a good likeness. Great paintjob, the eye direction looks fine to me.
