Yeah, the M1 looks like it has the whole neck, the 54 just has enough. I actually could have got the 89 at the same time I snagged the 54, it was a tough call as I could only get 1, but 54 is my 2nd favorite G suit so I went that route. I'd also been after it for years. That's the fun of G collecting too, you hear of pieces well after they sell out and really hunt after them which makes finally getting them tha much more rewarding. I watched auctions for the 84 Kaiyodo for years that were like $300 and finally found one for less than $100. Same with the 54 bust, most auctions wanted $800 or higher and I got it for half.

You're right. I remember the hunt for the different pieces was actually most of the fun of collecting them. I don't think I nearly enjoyed having all of that stuff cluttering my living space as much as I enjoyed gathering it all.

'89 is my fave design because it has the classic look without any of the cheese characteristics, but '54 is the true King. 2000 is my second fave design though.

I'd enjoy seeing a G2K paint up by you and how you'd approach the purple spikes. The 89 is a great design, very powerful looking and fierce.

Looks like G.I. Joe Falcon and the remaining Bith are going to be Con Exclusives. I was wondering what the hold up on Falcon was. And now that the first 2-pack of Bith are released, it's good to know we only have like a week to wait for the rest of the band. Yes, I painted Falcon and the band.

Did you paint all of the upcoming SSC Snowtrooper?

Is that a custom painted SSC Indy you have displayed there and if so have you posted any pics of it anywhere?

I didn't paint the Snowtrooper, but I painted something Snowtrooper related.

Yes, that is a repainted SSC Indy, and I have shown pics of it a long time ago. He's somewhere in this thread.

Sorry, only been on SF about two years, but I just noticed your website and found it. It is so great to look over those heads, all on one page. Truly stunning body of work.

Those Indy and Toht repaints are, as I expected, unbelievable!

Thanks. If you go back a couple pages, you can read all about how it's represents the culmination of 20 years of model kit building and 33 years of waiting for the ultimate Alien collectible. It will always mean more to me than just about anything in my collection.

On that note, here's something else from the same universe. The only reason I'm sure I know what it is is because I painted it. This will be Thursday's pre-order, and I know people are going to dig it. I personally can't wait to see it all as one big piece.
