Surprisingly, I didn't have to adjust my technique too much. But, like you said, I had to switch gears a bit. In some ways it was actually easier cause it wasn't such a confined work space. A little more forgiving in the precision department.

Absolutely astounding, looks like a severed head. I won't say Alec Guinness' because the sculpt is lacking a bit in likeness, but an uncanny look alike's. :rock

It's actually one of the most dumbfounding paint jobs I've ever seen almost like you had to have a real decapicated old man beside you to fully understand how those blood vessles look beneath the skin. Stunning... Crazy...

Can u imagine how good his would look with a sculpt that actually resembled Alec Guiness? And even with a poor sculpt the paint brings the very most out of it.

Another version of Sosa's Superman, the intense version. I removed the neck and sculpted the hair to meet the back of the ears like the Hot Toys version so it would look right on a body.

Thanks guys.

I got your email, PCK. It's not lost, but definitely caught up in the shuffle. As soon as my backlog is widdled away some more, I'll go through unanswered PMs and emails.

That Superman is amazing!!!

And do you have any progress on your Big Chap Bust? I really can't wait on it!!!

No, haven't started on it yet. I look at it every day and imagine how good it might be, but haven't had the time to tackle it yet.

My god Nate!!!! These last few paint ups! :thud: When I thought it couldn't possibly get any better, you up the ante once again! So freaking lifelike its down right scary! Your the man bro! :hi5:

Wow! Amazing job on the recent paint apps as always. That Old Ben bust is outstanding. Very nice to see something done in a much bigger scale.

Custom Battle-Damaged Cameron for sale (head and Abigail Whistler body only). PM me.

I received this today. Words fail. Just a staggeringly good paintjob and Nathans mods to Trevors sculpt (the exposed endo-cheek) are amazing - that little jaw piston is a seperate piece which I didn't notice from the pics - obviously all the better.

Now unfortunately through my own fault I almost ruined the body Nathan provided. I lay it down on a newspaper I was reading in work and it soaked up the black ink :gah: Not a disaster, most of it rubbed off and what remains looks like dirt.

But anyway, props to Nathan, incredible work.

That head is freakin amazing. Great job Nathan and congrats on the new aquisition, A-Dev!!!

Thanks. I just held it up alongside other Terminator figures - blends in perfectly. Alas it may be some time before I can cloth the poor girl. Ultimately I want to finish her with her own decaled-stand and everything. This headsculpt really warrants an all-out approach. I'll have everything except an official box for her when I'm done.

I wanted to post a pic of my finished (at least for now) Indy that Nathan helped out on. Nathan dremeled out the neck of the headsculpt and also painted the neck and chest of the body to match the head paint. I might add that the neck and chest is matched PERFECTLY to the head. He even added chest hair to the body and some of his beard to the neck. Badass.
