"A *real* native is someone who is willing to die fighting for his country. There's nothing more to it." -Bill 'The Butcher' Cutting

This piece doesn't seem very photogenic. It looks much better in person.

From where I'm sitting you made it extremely photogenic. Such great work. Love it

I've only gone back a few pages but already I understand the admiration and respect you garner from the community as such a skilled artist.

Love your work on Bill above and though I'll have to hunt for it, the amazing paintwork on the Walter White sculpt as well. And then Lawrence of Arabia and... well I could go on and on :p

Holy moly, just noticed what you done to the stash, looks more raised than before, wow, can't wait to get him......:yess:....and the eagle eye is the best I ever seen...

I'm glad you approve, mightyq. I hope you enjoy it even more in person.

HAHA! Holy crap I just realized that that is my old figure! Amazing work Nathan and congrats Marty he looks friggin superb!:hi5:

p.s. Nathan I did send you an email about a week ago.

thanks brian....i wanted the best bill by velvet around..nathan also done the knives and boots....i think i succeded..:yess:

That is just insane! I've always loved this sculpt... but the work you did on it just takes it to another level. And the detail of the eye not to mention it having that kind of mineral/inlayed look is just unreal :huh

Wow. Bill looks amazing.

Out of curiosity, is it more fun for you as an artist to paint a character who has more of an extreme look, like our friend Bill here? Or is it about the same level of work/satisfaction as a more straight-forward portrait?

More fun with a more extreme look. Simplicity is actually hard to do because flaws are more easily spotted. It's also nice to see sculpted detail come to life, instead of just a smooth, minimal character face.

I love your painting style, silent surfer. When are you accepting commission from new customers? I have a few head sculpts that I would love to get the "SS" treatment.

With today's announcement of the new 1/6 Scar predator, I hope it puts to an end predatorsarethebomb123's obsession with having me do a custom resculpt Scar for him. I knew it was coming.
