That is just insane! I've always loved this sculpt... but the work you did on it just takes it to another level. And the detail of the eye not to mention it having that kind of mineral/inlayed look is just unreal

Out of curiosity, is it more fun for you as an artist to paint a character who has more of an extreme look, like our friend Bill here? Or is it about the same level of work/satisfaction as a more straight-forward portrait?

More fun with a more extreme look. Simplicity is actually hard to do because flaws are more easily spotted. It's also nice to see sculpted detail come to life, instead of just a smooth, minimal character face.

That's a characteristic of Rocco's work. I wish he took an extra pass to smooth some lines over.
