Looks like most of it may still be mine. I painted the disassemble helmet, but not the fully built one (wasn't ready with the rest of the parts at the time), which I think has been revised anyway.

Yes, this Vader was the last thing I did for Sideshow. It was quite an honor after Boba Fett and Grievous.

Hahaha. He's part of the reason I got into 1/6 2 years ago... To this day, I've left a shelf on my detolf free for him. But I think I'll finally put something on that shelf.


If Sideshow didn't hire SilentSurfer to paint anything for this year's SDCC... maybe it's something he can't paint... like a real fur Chewbacca!

I don't paint for Sideshow anymore. There won't be any more reveals of my work by them. If we ever see Grievous again, it likely will be a production sample paint job, and not my original proto paint. I only painted one, and it wasn't even the final version. It was just to get it on the floor at SDCC '10.

Are you referring to Mike's red splotches? If so its TOTALLY accurate.
