Hey, how 'bout that! I had to upgrade my account in Photobucket to increase my bandwidth, and low and behold, I rediscovered the ability to quick link pics without clicking four times each. It still has the url code attached, but it's a step back in the right direction.

I had to upgrade mine last week... which has never happened in the years I've had the account. I have a feeling they must have changed something since I noticed it happening to you and Skiman around the same time.

You can change the settings in Photobucket to not have a URL posted in your pictures. I think it's User Settings- Albums- and then you uncheck "link back to album".

I still miss the old days when Photobucket didn't suck *** :lol

Sweet :duff Stupid PB really ruined a good thing... but I've got so many photos on there (that are shared elsewhere) that I'd hate to delete the account.

So like eBay I'll continue to go down with the ship :lol

Hey bro I really wish you could Reply to me at least tell me no I'm a huge fan of your work but as far as getting back to people I guess if you haven't done work for people in the past then you just don't care about them. No disrespect at all but it only takes two seconds to Reply to someone

:stick Please don't take it so personally. Those who have known me for a while know it sometimes takes time to hear back. If I'm already juggling a lot of stuff, I may not be able to acknowledge anything not already on my radar. Answering a commission request isn't always as simple as, "Hi. Sure can. Thanks, Nathan"

As a customer of Nathan's, I'm hoping he will allow me to interject...

Here's my advice to people interested in hiring Nathan to use his considerable artistic talents on your items:

1) Be patient. Nathan is busy. This mean he often doesn't get around to answering emails. Especially when he probably receives a slew of emails on a daily basis asking him for quotes and availability. Secondly, part of the reason he is so busy is because he's so meticulous and exacting and puts all of that compulsion into his work *which incidentally is often why its so breath-taking. So be patient. Luckily he's got Igor's help. I find writing Igor will often get you a response sooner than waiting for Nathan. (even Igor can sometimes take a little while so again PATIENCE!)

2) Be persistent. Like all the best tradesman and artists--especially when they are so highly lauded--they can become so focused on their tasks that they can forget. It's not personal. It's not even irresponsible. Artists are just not wired to remember who emailed them 5 days ago and more specifically to remember WHAT they emailed about and they are even less interested in remembering how much they charge to weather a 1/6 t-shirt. I know this because I too am an artist and creative minds can sometimes be hyper-focused and detailed oriented (again this makes Nathan an amazing painter and I wouldn't have it any other way). So, don't take it personally. Keep reminding him who you are.. Which leads me to the next point...

3) Be familiar. Get to know the man. Post in this thread. Make comments and offer opinions on subjects that are important to him. Make a connection because its always harder for someone to ignore you when they know who you are!

4) Consolidate your projects. I think this might be the best thing you can do. Like all commission based artists, nathan would rather take work from someone he feels will be a returning and valuable customer. I think he's obviously willing to do a one off paint work, but I think he would probably find a gig more attractive to him if it were more substantial--as everyone would.

Again, Nathan forgive me if I've over stepped my bounds. Just trying to help you get some people to better understand you and your work method and those trying to send you work some help reaching you.

You can follow Wake's 4 step program... or you can just show up at his house when he ignores you. I suggest around dinner time. He always has something good on the stove

Not offended at all, Omar. Thank you for posting that. That was amazing. You understand me better than I understand myself. I think you are 100% right on all points.

And that's why you got in the door when I wasn't taking new clients in the first place. :1-1:

With me Nathan or Igor always answer me, sometimes take a while, but always do, and i am a "new costumer"
if you are thinking Nathan hard to get in touch, you should never try to contact a few of here ( i wont give names).. :)

Worry about finishing school (pay special attention in English class). Then worry about becoming Nathan's customer.
