The only real issue I have with the comiquette is the head sculpts. I thought all of them were off. I noticed this was a common theme for me with many of Tony Cipriano's sculpts. I find myself not liking many of the head sculpts on his pieces.

You and me both. Not Tony C's biggest fan, I'm afraid, even though I own two of his statues. That's why I'm glad Trevor Grove stepped in for the Psylocke PF.

PERFECT! No one does the Surfer as well as Randy does. Even the action Surfer by BD looks incredible. However, the chrome museum is still tops in my book.

For the life of me, Tony C can't sculpt open mouth with teeth showing. He did do a good job on Gambit & the Thing though but the EX for both Cyclops, Bucky and Namor are god awful.

Bowen's Surfer has those big wide eyes. Always looks great.

And although the Gambit PF is probably my favorite piece in my collection, the head with the smoke looks too old and wrinkled. But it's still my favorite statue.

I don't know...Gambit had some chick-let looking teeth as well. Still don't know how Disney-Marvel let the cancer stick get approved...

I had move other statues to make room for this piece.. I really like the statue.

I think I will repaint it at some point.

Ok I have been toying around with idea of repainting this statue.


I decided to repaint one of the headsculpts what do you guys think if I reapinted the whole piece like this please let me know your thoughts

Well u already started might as well do the whole thing since it would not match the body.

The paint choice looks good by the way. I would stick to using that for the body.

This statue comes with 3 headsculpts so I reapinted the one I hated the most

My lighting is not the best Im going to repaint this Bowen Surfer I have
since it has paint chips and needs a good repainting

You must. MUST. The other 2 head sculpts will become as sad as this one if you don't chrome him You do great work!

Thanks I used a special paint called Alclad II chrome.
