I saw that a couple weeks ago... didn't realize it was because of the switch to HD, but I too approve.

Yeah, I noticed the switch too, but I haven't been excited about the Simpsons for years. I really miss the old school animation--It gave the show charm. But now, everything seems so artificial and weird. Havent they been animating everything on computers for the past few years for a more "uniform" look?

I do admit the show looks crystal clear in HD and did entice me to watch the episode that was on (even though it was really bad).

I caught it the first week it went HD, but when I went to watch this week's on my DVR, all I had was racing. Damn Fox and their sports!

The same thing happened to me, I was lucky enough to record it quick enough so I didn't miss it. I like it a lot better than the original, I think I was just burnt out on the same thing.

So is anyone else ready to remove the Simpsons from their DVR?

Last nights "Treehouse of Horror" was easily one of the weakest and just not funny or entertaining. I know the show has been stale for quite a while, but I think I may finally be ready to pull the plug :lol

I pulled them off my DVR 2 years ago. Only watched the episode this week because it was THoH and it was awful.

They really just need to cancel this show.

I thought it was alright, which is the same way I feel about each episode now. Still worth watching, but I agree that it's time to end the show.

Yep. I'm a huge fun, but can't remember the last time there was an episode that was funny from start to end like they used to be.

Yeah, that's the position I find myself in... I watch more out of habit, then actual enjoyment of the show.

I remember sticking it out in the late 90's when they went through a pretty boring period later... but now it just feels even more tired.

But it's in HD now! That should be good for another couple years. :yess:

I'd just like to see an episode with no blood. It's amazing how many times they REALLY hurt someone in an episode.

Also I'd like to see an episode where they are as focused on the laughs and try to focus on the story.

Totally agree. I can't believe how much blood is drawn on the show in comparison to earlier years.
