Oh and i got my hoodie, additional jacket and whiplash boots for him as well... still waiting on the gloves and then its just the heads...BTW have you decided on how to do the mandibular fangs?

It would be awesome if you could get it done that soon. I'm going to have to take a radioactive pill to deal with a thyroid issue and since I'll be radioactive for a while, I'll be hold up and isolated in the house. I got a John Wayne project and couple other things I fiddling with but I'd love to add Nomak to my itinerary ...

I do work quick so you have that on your side, it's been 16 days (roughly 2 weeks) since this first start on the sculpt.

No, what do you desire?

Tongue was the only trait I was going to ask on what the preference would be, everything else is dummy proof.

Wasn't for sure as to have the tongue collapsed or rolled up as about to expand (like in other pics), expanded would definitely be tricky and very carefully executed on the mold and taking out of the mold, etc...

Honestly, I like the tongue kinda rolled up, as it is in the second photo... As for teeth, the large mandibular fangs probably should be made out of something with a bit of backbone... may be coating stick pins with a clear epoxy or something like that. I would imagine its your best option to add the teeth after the head is molded... Actually I have know idea of how you could mold such things

Cool, that would be the easier option.

As for teeth, the sculpt will be resin, it shouldn't be a problem.

As for adding teeth, that's the same method on the 1st sculpt, the know how on molding and casting or creating the sculpt is not a problem. I was just going to ask for opinions on the tongue/expanded/or non-expanded.

Anyone else object to the rolled up version or prefer something else, if not I will proceed with rolled up tongue open mandible version?

Swappable tongues???

I could sculpt a separate insert if we wanted to go that route?

The rolled up tongue would have a place holder for the expanded piece that would just need to be slipped in front for the other display tongue option, let me know I'm open to ideas and I want this to the "ultimate Nomak" in 1/6 scale form out to date.

I'll sleep on it, 4 molds, 2 being for tongues sounds like a lot more $$$$

I'll think on how to cheapen this cost down, maybe put both tongues on one mold.

Here's my arguement for one mold, tongue in: The tongue in the reaper strain is only for feeding and delivering the virus to its victom/host. Ergo, under most, if not all poses it isn't really necessary to have it extended. I mean if your doing a roaring pose it works in as well as out, if he's feeding, it works in as it would usually be posed the moment before he latches on. I mean it seems like a whole lot of extra work for very little benefit. Skiman, you can't please everyone. I wouldn't scream and cry if you did decide to do it with the tongue out, but I may mod it myself for the look I prefer. I really don't think you should go through all the extra work of doing 2 tongues. It doesn't seem reasonable in this context. Don't get me wrong, the idea is sound and I sure you'd make it look amazing, I just don't think it would be worth it in the mark up you would need to charge and the effort you would have to put in. This set is already the ultimate Nomak. Keep it simple as possible. The more moving parts, the more things can go wrong, Know what I mean?

BTW, how did you do the weathering on the outer coat? I was thinking sand paper but thought I'd ask...

Whatever the tongue decision, I’ll in. Thanks for presenting options. However, I keep envisioning a reaper in a death grip by a Hot Toy predator with the reaper’s tongue out stretched.

I would even purchase a Steve Wang / concept version like this… (Hopefully, it is ok to post this picture.)

Does it appear to anyone else that Nomak has two hooded sweatshirts on? I was looking at the movie attire and it looks like there is a cream colored hoodie on beneath the grey one but above the black shirt...

Nomak wear a long t-shirt color beidge,grey shirt and a hoodie grey and sometimes looks black, I try to make this figure so bad!!! came on SKI show us the first sculpt and after we can work out thogether with second sculp!

Check out page 6 of this thread. Skiman got a shot of Nomaks wardrobe. It goes white t-shirt, black button down, beige /tan hoodie, grey hoodie and over coat.
