Re: Ski's GI JOE Customs etc... (Serpentor WIP P.62)

Oh. My. God. :eek

The things I have missed. This makes my Jump look like a poorly recasted garage kit. :lol I love all the details like the actual cusions on the seat. The engine underneath (not seen in these shots) looks great as well!

Anybody can glue a buncha ____ together and paint it up, but to actually kitbash something and make it look like the source material THEREIN lies the true talent. Were I not already immpressed before I certainly am now. The BAT blew everyone away, and Nemesis Enforcer was even beyond words for some people but damn this is hot!:clap:clap:clap

Re: Ski's GI JOE Customs etc... (Serpentor WIP P.62)

Would be curious to see said source material.

Re: Ski's GI JOE Customs etc... (Serpentor WIP P.62)

Cool stuff. Would like to see more pics of Zartan posed on that thing.

I think I would display him on it. :)

I agree! Ski, where you at? :tap I'd really like to hear the specs on this. Just by looking at it its gotta be almost a foot in 1/6.

All that and his Zartan can't even ride it. :monkey1

I've been bugging him for months, literally, to got TTA or at least Dutch for Zartan, but the stubborn prick's stuck on the Krauser bod. :(:lol

Re: Ski's GI JOE Customs etc...

I was really scared that no one would like it... I made it kind of modern and I must say that it took most of my time out of customizing any figs... it was brutal :lol

Another update shot of the final piece... in case no one ventures back far enough into the thread I know I posted a lot of pics from start to finish.

Thank you fellas, here's the final pics from the completed project, man I remember this and it took me forever to get this right but it's solid from all the metal and has a pretty decent weight behind it once I was finished.

MANDO you are correct in it's size, it's about a 1ft +plus or and some change.

Parts used :lol : (RJ45 and RJ11 coupler on the back of that Skier, network card, modem card, attennas, metal rods from cat litter handles :lol - extremely VERY hard to bend to shape, I think I broke my hand :lol, steel rods from PC junk bin, hard drive rubber coverings, charter DSL coverings)

Thank you fellas, looking back at that thing I'm glad to be finsihed with it :monkey1 :thud: :lol

Ski doesn't have a middle gear.... He works out, goes to work, spends time with his wife and their cats, buys statues and customizes figures.... No sleep... Just an f'n machine!

I want to keep this pace up, hopefully there's no disappointment, especially with Slaughter right around the corner in Oct.
