Great paint work on him... but man that is a fugly sculpt. Odd too as the WIP I saw of it seemed really good.

the actor was not that much better looking, great job ski, really looks like him now that you made it.

Really... maybe I'm off base then. It looks very off to my eyes.

Paint is great though, but just looks very weird to me

There's something funky with the lips, yes, it's possibly just how Viggo's are, or it's just how the sculpt is made. Could be the lighting too. Paint app is spot on though. Ski rocks!

I felt bad saying I didn't like the sculpt but I agree, I don't see Aragorn there.... Ski's paint is magnificent though.

It's about time I send some stuff to Ski too... Been meaning to send him Obi-Wan but I wouldn't mind getting Jedi Luke done too.

LOTR is a story that means a great deal to me. It is likely the story I feel the very most for of all stories I have seen, heard, or read. So seeing Ski's magic on characters from LOTR is a special treat for me!


Few can do the characters any justice.

I am not one to need the sculpt to look exactly like the actor as lomg as it represents the character well. And I feel that this one does. If Ski had not said who it was, I would have picked Aragorn immediately.


That being said...when I look at the sculpt, I do see Viggo Mortenson in the top half, but I see Charleton Heston in the bottom half.

Win/Win...as CH would have been an awesome Aragorn as well!

Nice work on Aragorn Ski! It just gives me ideas of other projects I can send you after Rogue. Then there's the 1/6 Joes, and now maybe the Arwen maquette head sculpts.

Sculpt looks like Willem Dafoe (which isn't a criticism).

Paint is stellar. I'm almost ready to stop buying figures for a bit and ship this prodigy a box of heads.

That's a pretty accurate assessment... but to me not a very good combo for a 1/6 head
