Would like to see what Hot Toys would do with the character though.

In all fairness, the Medi is not 1/6. More like 1/7. :moon:

I think that looks great, but I understand if people aren't crazy about it.

The clothes on it are great, but he is sorely lacking in accessories. He comes with an extra set of hands and that's it. :slap

I had to go to a doll shop to get the tea set. He comes with a hand that works for holding a tea cup, so it's beyond me why Medicom didn't at least include one tea cup.

Also, the paint-job/likeness is poor.

:lol Yes, there is that.

This is one figure that can almost get away with that though, because the hat is so tall.

Hmm. I liked sleepy hollow, but I agree...the headless horseman would be an easier sell than ichabod. I've always liked depp since I was a kid, but I guess I just feel alittle bit over him and burton. Aesthetically at least.

I would really dig an Agent Sands figure from once upon a time in mexico, though!

Im thinking the reason HT is going with Ichabod is

A. Depp sells.

B. Depp sells very well.

C. Medicom did an Ichabod and HT wants to stick it to them whenever they can.

oh and

D. Depp sells.

:D

Yeah, I totally get that. I wasn't really asking why hot toys would do that. I was just talking about my personal interests in the character, as a horror fan..

He would come with some friggin awesome accessories though.

E) Depp is amazing :D

Raoul Duke >>>>>> Every worthless Tim Burton character he's played in the past 10 years.

Yeah I know what youre saying. It would be awesome if HT did do the Headless Horseman with the horse! :horror

I agree. :)

While I wouldnt mind having a Raoul Duke figure, I have to say Im more interested in the visually striking designs of that of Mad Hatter/Wonka/Crane etc over RD. I would like to have those characters first.

But I wouldnt turn down any HT offerings of Depp so bring them all on I say!:lecture

I can't say I really give a ____ about Depp as an actor. The man is very good, but I'm not so much a fan of him as I am of Tim Burton's gothic horror flicks.

It's the "Depp license" so it was pretty obvious originally, thx :sleep

Duke is a character I see Rainman making or some other well known full figure customizer on these boards making.

Though I liked the film, I didn't like it enough to want a figure of it. I honestly don't see the craze for a Raoul Duke but that's just me I guess. I'd choose a Depp figure from a Tim Burton film over just about any other Depp character. They're visually more interesting IMO, and I enjoy those Depp/Burton films more than other Depp films
