Well I'm pretty sure that even if Ichabod/Horseman died together, Sleepy Hollow would still need to deal with Moloch. Probably a good idea to keep Ichabod around for that.

Only one thing that I keep in mind, why did they use the sin eater again? If Ichabod died, the horseman would've died, no?

So why save Ichabod when they could have just be done with the Horseman as well? Is it because maybe Ichabod would've died and the Horseman wouldn't?

Don't get me wrong, I'm obviously glad they saved him, I'm just trying to make some sense of it.

Basically because they said there was another way without Ichabod having to die also.....thus the Sin Eater.

But, if Ichabod died and so the Horseman, why not do it?
Is it because it's supposed to be 7 years of tribulations? And it wouldn't stop with the horseman?

I'm playing the devil's lawyer cause I want it to make sense :lol

It does make sense. Abby doesn't want Ichabod to die, so she snags the Sin Eater to help him.

Ichabod already made the choice to die. He didn't choose the Sin Eater.

So, she saves Ichabod whilst saving the horseman as well? That's my inquiry.

Crane dies, the Horseman dies, if he dies, he can't summon the other 3 horsemen, so, what am I missing? Is this a teeny tiny plot hole? I can let it pass but I prefer to think it's because they need to be together for the 7 years, and if the horse died they would be just someone/something else instead anyway, but I wish they would explained that.

You're just telling me that to shut me up aren't you? :lol Ok I'll shut up, that's what I wanted to hear anyway, nothing wrong with a little plot hole. :peace

It's not a plot hole though. It's Abby being selfish and wanting her best friend at the moment not to die. Ichabod was being unselfish. He was willing to die to save everyone.

I look at it a bit differently.

Because the blood lines were mixed, they originally thought that by Ichabod dieing it would also kill the Horseman and that was the only way to stop him.

Then they learned the Horseman could be killed or contained without Ichabod dieing and thus the Sin Eater was brought in.

I'll have to rewatch the episode to see exactly what was said though.

Yeah, I'm aware of that, there's another way, but in the meanwhile, the horseman is on the loose and kills 3 more people.

Glad they caught him though, that scene was awesome

It's still a bit troubling for me, but, I'll play ostrich, other than that, this show is perfect.

Man. I love this fan base. It cracks me up. I love this show. I love everything. EVERYTHING IS GOOD/.
