I meant how does the Slenderman himself work. He doesn't actually follow you, it's almost like he randomly appears and if you don't look at him long enough he'll randomly appear somewhere else. It's strange to think that you don't outrun him persay but more like "out-look" him if that makes sense.

On the video I watched on IGN they said he does follow you and the closer he gets you hear his footsteps and such.

The video above with the screaming guy has a moment where the Slenderman has the guy stuck in a room with one way out. He turns around a few times and then exits out the same way with no Slenderman there. I'm baffled if that's really good programming or really shoddy programming.

Its really good programming! The whole point is to shock you,there one min and gone the next,your always on the run but hes always there. . .kinda like Micheal Myers or Jason. In the end, if you stop or slow down, they always get you. Genius really

Some people's reactions to this are over the top. I was watching a video and these people were showing off for the camera pretty much. The game itself is freaky you have to find pages or something .

Anyone preorder Slender: The arrival? If so, you get a bare bones beta, but is still very cool - graphics are nice and still very atmostpheric!

lol, kinda true...the beta for Slender the Arrival didn't have much of that, but the devs are indicating a much more robust final product in regards to story...guess we shall see..

The beta was all at night, like Slender: eight pages as its called now, but the trailer shows daytime areas, so I am really curious.
