Just got a PM from Josh about my unpainted sculpts. He had thought I'd gotten a PM explaining what was happening. He is returning some sculpts because he preferes that we have them instead of him. At this time he is swamped with SS work and will get back to custom painting as soon as he gets a chance. He is not accepting any work until he though with the SS stuff.

I was soo lookin forward to get my rainman tyler sculpt painted by him

But those of you who have gotten your unpainted sculpt back, I feel you guys. Must have sucked big time.

Maybe SS doesn't want him painting on the side . . .

That would be weird, because the guy that runs the paint department takes on commission work.

Hey guys figured i would pop in here while i got a min. Im still around Dont worry i will be taking on more orders. It will be very limited at first. Before i took on to many all at once so what happened is i had a lot of sculpts just sitting around on my shelf and members with headless figs. I figured i would have been able to work through them faster but unfortunately i did get a day job and had a few other projects come my way so i had to put old orders on hold. What i am wanting to do is start over fresh so when i get a sculpt i can get it pumped out alot faster for you guys. I felt better about sending some of the sculpts back so at least you would have them. Once more time is free i would be more then happy to go back and revisit those sculpts i have sent back as well. Back to work.......

so could you repaint my rainman tyler head then? I bought it specifically so that you can paint it up, had I known that you are gonna be swamped with work, I wouldnt have bought it in the first place. So I'm just confused right now...

Josh, I'll shoot you a PM too, but just wanted to say, No rush on my stuff. It's cool if you're trying to clear your workspace a bit too, so let me know if you want to send anything of mine back. Otherwise, take your time, as time permits. I like that you don't take $$$ up front, so it's not as huge a burden on us collectors...but as customizers, your repaints are second to none.

And again, huge, huge congrats on the SS gig...can't wait to see some of the work! :chew

Im not following, josh,

My take - Basically no new stuff at the moment till he gets through his workload, and some have been sent back to folks as Josh felt the wait time was going to be too long. When Josh feels he has capacity he'll take new orders. Seems straight forward to me.

Finally a slight break in the work load, now if the snow would just let up I will be posting at least a few more sculpts here soon. Maybe a few newer ones so you guys dont get tired of the oldies Thanks for the support on the SS stuff. Alot of great stuff on the horizon!
