Or he morphs into Henry Cavill in the suit and HE flies away.

That would be hilarious. Zatanna shows up with the answer to hiding Clark's identity and all of a sudden we get Cavill looking back at Clark in the mirror. The fanboys would self-distruct.

One 5 episodes left!!!!

(4) One-hour long episodes and a two-hour episode is all that remains. Sorry for sounding like a sap, but I think I'm going to cry when this whole thing ends. It's weird because I started watching this show from episode one when I was a freshman/sophomore in high school. It's like I went through the "motions" with this show, through high school, then college, and up to now. In a weird way, this will end another chapter in my life. (Hence my board name. :))

I feel the exact same way as you probably remember, so bitter sweet!! :monkey2 :duff

Same here, same here! :wave Being a HUGE life-long Superman fan, I knew I had to check this show out. When it premiered 10 years ago, my little girl was 1 year old. By the time she was 3, she could say "Clark" and "Chloe". I'm serious! She watched it with me when I would watch it. Now she's 11 years old. She knows the show and remembers watching it when she was little. So it's like my daughter has grown up with Smallville. I'll really miss it when it's gone. I'm so happy we're getting this 10th season, when originally it was supposed to end last season.

I still think it would have been perfect to just move the Smallville cast into the new movie, "Man Of Steel". But oh well. I'll always admire this cast and this show for what it was able to do in the last 10 years. One of my all-time favorite shows! No question about that! :)

The ending of that episode gave me goosebumps.

Really great episode with an even better ending.

it was more of a emotional ep i liked it though it was good to see a familiar face its sad to see this show ...

It was really sad. :(

I was hoping to see Martha open the door for Jonathan but honestly, liked it even more the way they did it. It left you wanting SO much more. I really miss those two.

It was also sad seeing Clark say "good-bye" to the farm. I hope it'll be around for a few more episodes, but then again, there isn't much time left.

If you all haven't read it yet, I read an article that Cassidy Freeman did recently, asking her about the end of the show, etc. etc. It was really nice. It gave you a little insight on the direction the producers are going, but didn't really give any spoilers away, so I really recommend checking it out.

got a link to the article ?

Smallville's Cassidy Freeman on Tess' Latest Tangle with Alt-World Clark and Finale Chills
Apr 15, 2011 11:15 AM ET
by Damian Holbrook5 Comments

Cassidy Freeman
The alt-world Clark is back on Smallville tonight (8/7c on The CW) and you know what that means: More Luthor madness for everyone's favorite reformed bad girl, Tess. Here, in one of her final Smallville interviews, the fabulous Cassidy Freeman fills us in on what to expect when trouble from another universe comes to visit... and how she reacted to reading the script for the show's finale.

TV Guide Magazine: So how does it feel to be done filming forever?
Cassidy Freeman: It feels weird. [Laughs] It feels exciting that we had such a great finale, but also strange to know that I won't be going back up to Vancouver in three months.

TV Guide Magazine: We get some cool stuff from you in this "Kent" episode, huh?
Freeman: Oh yeah. Clark Luthor and Tess know each other's cards. Which is interesting because almost no one on this show knows everyone else's cards. So it's very manipulative, their relationship. What muddies that is the relationship between Otherworld Tess and Clark Luthor, one that maybe this world's Tess doesn't necessarily want, but it does feel good to be wanted in that way. So I think she is very confused. [Laughs].

TV Guide Magazine: Does it get sexy?
Freeman: It does, it gets very flirtatious.

TV Guide Magazine: Is this the tipping point where Tess might decide if she's built to be a good girl or goes back to her Luthor roots?
Freeman: She does have that decision to make, but I don't think it's Clark Luthor who is going to have her make it. She has bigger fish to fry.

TV Guide Magazine: Such as...?
Freeman: Her dad. [Laughs] The real Luthors!

TV Guide Magazine: Speaking of dads, this episode also brings back John Schneider as Jonathan Kent.
Freeman: Yes. I never got to work with him, but John is such a kind, kind man and it's so exciting to have him back. It's a really cool episode. It's very twisty.

TV Guide Magazine: What happens when Clark Luthor shows up?
Freeman: Well, it always takes me a second to figure out which one is which. [Laughs] And then, a total cat-and-mouse game begins... who is on top, who's in control. He plays on my want to be loved. A lot.

TV Guide Magazine: And his endgame is to stay in this universe.
Freeman: Yep.

TV Guide Magazine: How does Tess factor in the plan to bring our Clark back?
Freeman: Oh, I'm involved everywhere. I'm dirty! I have my hands in everything. [Laughs]

TV Guide Magazine: Now obviously, you can't tell us anything juicy about the finale. But is it something you think fans will just love?
Freeman: Yeah. I think it's a really, really beautiful ending. I remember when we finally got the last scripts, I called Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders to tell them what an incredible job they did. I read it and got chills. It's awesome.

TV Guide Magazine: Would you say we get happy endings across the board?
Freeman: I don't know. Depends on your definition of "happy." [Laughs] It's a really great ending.

TV Guide Magazine: Do you get to do anything cool?
Freeman: I get to do tons of cool stuff in it, but I can't tell you! I wish I could! I do really cool stuff. [Laughs]

TV Guide Magazine: Did you take anything from the set?
Freeman: I got to keep some of my clothes, but I didn't take anything actually from the set.

TV Guide Magazine: Well, Tess did have some good clothes, so score! What about your monogrammed director's chair?
Freeman: I actually donated my chair to a good cause. Kelly sells the chairs to raise money for one of the many causes she helps with. So I signed it and we auctioned it off for charity.

TV Guide Magazine: What's next for you?
Freeman: I'm shooting a pilot for the A&E network. It's called Longmire and it's a show about a sheriff, set in Wyoming. It's based on a bunch of mystery novels by Craig Johnson.

TV Guide Magazine: Well, I just want to congratulate you on a great run on Smallville, and we'll be keeping our fingers crossed that the pilot gets picked up. This can't be the last time we talk to you.
Freeman: I hope not! [Laughs] And thank you so much!

And here's one I just found:

Smallville Boss Talks Finale: "Having Lex Come Back Is Huge"
Today 4:02 PM PDT by JENNA MULLINS

Jack Rowand/The CW
Tonight, Clark Kent prepares for his final journey—and Smallville fans will have to start preparing for the end of their beloved show after ten seasons. We thought it was only appropriate to get on the phone with executive producer Kelly Souders (one of the women responsible for bringing us such a super show for so long) so we could bring you scoop on the rest of season 10.

And because we know you Smallville fans don't want to miss a single word about the final episodes, we're posting the entire Q&A, because Kelly was more than happy to give us tidbits on Clark (Tom Welling) and Lois (Erica Durance), plus how fans will feel after the series ending episode:

CW PARTY: Cowboys and Cliffhangers! Supernatural Boss Previews the Rest of the Season

Q&A with Smallville Executive Producer Kelly Souders

How did you and the other writers approach the final episodes?
I think we approached it as fans ourselves and we want everyone to get exactly what they're hoping for on their dream wish list. But we know that it would be kind of impossible to make everyone's dreams come true, so we focused on ourselves as fans and what we would really want to see and that's how it came together.

Do you think fans will be satisfied with the series finale?
I think that they will love the moments that will come in the finale. It's hard for anyone to be satisfied when something is coming to an end. I think the thing they will not be satisfied with is that there will not be a season 11.

Tell us about "Kent," tonight's episode.
I would say there is a lot of depth to it as far as diving into some of the psyches of some of our characters in the episode. I have always enjoyed watching our characters get cornered and seeing what really means something to them.

What will Clark and Lois's journey be like throughout the rest of the season?
I would have to say it gets put through the ringer a little bit. I think that whenever you have one of the great romances in all of history, which I truly believe Clark and Lois are that, it's going to have some of the great trials, it's not going to be easy so I will just say that when they finally get together they certainly deserve every moment of the happiness that they attain.

Ed Araquel/The CW
Did you and the other writers always plan on them getting engaged?
Well, we knew that we needed to advance their relationship so that is what we had wanted to do was to not have to style it out so that was the intent. And luckily it was able to come to fruition.

Are there any scenes from the last few episodes that you're excited for fans to see?
Wow, pretty much the entire finale! I mean there are a lot of different things that are coming up. Booster is so much fun. We get to introduce Booster Gold from the DC world, and he is literally the antithesis of Clark Kent. There are a lot of really wonderful moments in that. And when Clark is learning to become more Clark Kent and having Zod come back to the show—and Justin actually directed that episode—seeing him on screen again, and it's a slightly different version of him, I will say that it's like that squared. That has been really exciting. There are so many moments! Having Lex come back is huge, and Lionel Luthor. It's really interesting; between Tess and Lionel and Lex it gets a little complicated, well that's probably not the right word, but it's certainly exciting and you don't want to get up and get something from the kitchen during the commercials!

Speaking of Lex Luthor, why did you guys decide to bring Michael Rosenbaum back?
Well, we have wanted to have him back for years, but Michael has been very busy and the scheduling just never worked out. So when he had an opening to come back and do the finale, he gave us a call and he told us he might be able to make it happen, and we told him he needed to and it certainly felt right to have him there.

Can viewers expect more iconic moments from the comic books and the movies in the final episodes?
I think so. I think they should keep their eyes peeled to the screen.

What was the atmosphere on set like while shooting the final episodes?
It had been going on for months. First the writers are finished and then different people end up shooting out earlier than others so literally it was a three month goodbye. It's been very difficult.

Do you have a message forall the devoted Smallville fans?
Just a big thank you. It's very difficult for us to express how much we have been given by getting to have this job. It has been such a dream such a rare opportunity and we know we wouldn't have had one minute of it without them.

It's the beginning of the end tonight. What are you hoping to see as Smallville wraps up? Think Lois and Clark will make it down the aisle? Check out the preview for tonight's episode, and then fly down to the comments to start the goodbye party!

TONIGHTS EPISODE WAS AWESOME! AN EPIC WIN!

Really enjoyed it all, but the best part! IS THE EPIC FINALE TRAILER THEY SHOWED! IT GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS EVERYTIME!

They keep getting better and better. I can't believe it, but it's coming! I'm really not worried about the finale on this show. The trailer looks amazing. This season is turning out to be great. Rosenbaum is coming back. This is will be everything I think we've all wanted and then some.

Im in smallville heaven right now after that epic trailer.

Yeah, buddy! :rock

Have you seen the Smallville "countdown" trailers that they air at random on The CW? I really like those a lot too. They're about 10 seconds or so, but they pay homage to each season. Nothing spectacular, but they're really neat IMO.
