What a waste of an episode..basically what a waste of the past 5 or 6 episodes.

Yeah, it hasn't exactly been the epic buildup we might have expected.

The Legion of Doom turned out to be a whole lot of nothing, and I doubt we'll see them in the finale.

I loved tonight's episode. One of the best of the season, and definitely a "the finale is coming" vibe, IMO. LOVED the Lana reference. I'd love for her to come back. I don't expect her too, but that will always be one of those things I talk about even when the finale is over. (ie. "I wish Lana would have come back one last time.") Then, we have Kara. I'm kind of speechless the way she left. I got some closure on her character....but, I wish she would have said her good-byes to Clark. The Jor-El twist was good. Not cheesy (as I was worried it would be.) It fit with the episode well. Brought Clark that much closer to Lois, and vice versa. I had a little bit of a "WTF moment" when Clark pulled the crystal from the Fortress. I could feel Jor-El's approval coming, but then Clark does the "rebellion" thing and we're left wanting to see what happens. (Which is the point. I know. :lol)

The Legion of Doom....Don't really know if we're going to see an all-out showdown on screen or more of a "teaser of things to come" in the finale. I could go either way. I want Lex back. And that's all I really care about and obviously, I want to see resolution of Darkseid's arc. I'd like to see Lionel again too. Wouldn't be a finale without him.

Bottom line of my jumbled ball of thoughts: This is it. It's coming. The end of the beginning. I'm shocked. 10+ years in the making come down to this. What a ride it's been.

The Legion of Doom is a bit cheesy for Smallville, and hopefully that's the last we see of them. But this power switching episode was SO much better than the Lois & Clark version of the same gag.

Also - does it look like the shield on the suit is bigger than the SR shield? I hope so- and the blue is brighter too, I think.

Only 2 hours to go!

No cheesier than the JSA or that goofy cowboy assassin from the Suicide Squad or Toyman or the myriad other super cheesy stuff that's been on this show over the years imo. Cheese is yummy.

:rock I'll admit I like me some cheese too. :lol You can't go wrong every once in a while!

I think Prophecy was extremly weak.
It set up the following weeks finale extremly poor.
I just felt so....unsatisfied.
You should think with the finale only one week away and what is due to happen there should´ve been kind of a foresight to it, shouldn´it?!

All very good points, but I'll admit maybe I'm too much of a fan boy to see fault. :lol

I loved last week's episode. My biggest complaint is that the show is ending in less than a week. :( I pulled out the soundtracks today to reminisce. It's definitely going to be a "moment" for me when the finale airs. Growing up with a show like this for this long really makes you appreciate it when all is said and done. I don't think we'll ever see anything like this one again.

I'm a HUGE fan myself. I've kept up with this series since the beginning. I am hoping the "loose ends" get tied up. What's up with the Darkness? Why is Lois backing out of the wedding at the last minute? Will they or won't they walk down the aisle? Are we going to see the guys from the "Justice League" get back together a final time? Clark, Oliver, Aquaman, Flash, Cyborg, Black Canary? I didn't like that Kara/Supergirl chose to leave Earth. Wasn't she still supposed to help Clark "figure out" how to fly? Will we even see him fly in the suit? We all know Lex is coming back, but what will happen with him and Lionel from the alternate Earth?

So many questions! I hope we get answers in a 2 hour series finale'!

I agree that there are a lot of loose ends, but at the same time, we already know what will become of them and many I don't think need addressing. The Justice League is self explanatory. The Lois issue is a quick fix. We know they eventually marry. (I wouldn't be surprised if they leave it as we'll work this out and marry in the future.) We know will Clark fly even if they don't show it, etc. etc.

The nice thing is we all know the legend of Superman. We know how it all pans out. I'd rather them leave it to our imagination to fill in some of the blanks and touch on them briefly rather than waste the last 2, precious hours we have of the show.

I enjoyed last weeks ep, it was a great set up for the finale But its SOOO BITTERSWEET! Im going to miss this show so much! I cant believe its almost over! Im gonna miss it so much!

This is what I want to see:

1.) Re-establish Lex as the awesome villain that he is. In many ways, he made that show. Give his character (and the fans) the screentime he deserves.

2.) Resolve the Darkseid conflict. Clark needs to take him down and give us that battle we've wanted to see all season.

3.) Let me see Clark fly. I'll be totally honest. I don't know if I want to see Clark in the suit. But flying??? I WANT to see that so, so badly. Let's see Clark fill in that "missing piece." We've all wanted that since Season 1.

I definitely want to see some familiar faces again, like Lionel and Chloe again. I'd love to see Lana one last time. I don't know if it will happen, but I wish it would. The chemistry that Tom and Kristin had onscreen has been unrivaled IMO. I still miss seeing it to this day.

I've been watching since Day 1 and 10 seasons later, I can honestly say that this might be the best television show I've ever seen. I'm a huge Buffy/Angel fan. HUGE. But what this show has accomplished in 10 seasons is amazing to me. I don't say that very often. But after literally growing up with this show, I can say that this Friday will be a very sad day for me. I was a freshman in High School when this first aired, similar to the characters in the story. It's like we went to high school, college, and then the "real world" together. Sounds a little dramatic, but the show means that much to me. It's been quite a ride to say the least.

This show shot in itself in the foot with the no flights no tights rule. I understand the tights, but the second the show moved to Metropolis... He should have been flying. I'm sure that FXs wise the blur running and or flying effect would cost the same to produce. I find it hard to believe he is still running around the world. He'd be as fast or faster than the Flash with his sprint training! Also, How are we expected to believe his ability to fly will just click in and just into the suit and fly into the sky and battle Darkseid.

This whole season has been a filler except for the excellent 200th episode.

Honestly, the "no flight, no tights" rule is a big part of why I continued to watch for so many years. It kept me wanting more. I've always looked at this show as a story about Clark Kent, not Superman, which is why it never bothered me a lot. I definitely WANTED to see it, but it was always something that I could reason not seeing. I see your point though in that it gets frustrating, but I like it that way. I do hope they end with him taking flight. It seems like the natural thing do at this point in the show.

I'm fine without the suit, but he should have been flying seasons ago or at least all of this season... Its disrupted his natural progression in my view. They show could have gone the Birthright route and him do more global traveling every other episode and flying about... That would have been cooler than what was done...

Yeah, I can definitely appreciate that. I've had plenty of "come on and fly already!" moments. :lol They know how to tease their fans.
