Smallville Season 10: The Final Season (SPOILERS)

Honestly, the "no flight, no tights" rule is a big part of why I continued to watch for so many years. It kept me wanting more.

it made me give up. i'd be totally cool with the writers/creators if they redesigned the suit so he wasn't wearing spandex, but without the flying, they've basically created a new superhero.....The Blur. which is basically the Flash from Krypton.

i feel like i've been dating a super hot chick for 10 years and haven't even gotten a kiss.

Its not the showrunners its the DC and WB executives that put restrictions on the show *AND* the show from the start was always about ClarkKent, i know everyone wants him in the suit flying, i want it to! But saldy, thats not what Smallville is, But im shure we will get it in the epic 2 hour finale!!!

Finally got around to seeing last week's episode, slightly disappointed in how much filler was in there. I feel like it was a step backwards in terms of the progression we've gotten. I'm looking forward to the finale but the episode could have been wiped out and you'd miss nothing. The big shock of Lois not wanting to marry Clark was almost laughable since she spent the majority of the season telling him it'd work but whatever.

I've watched and loved this show all my life, but the last 2-3 seasons have been just bleh.. It's kind of a chore now.
It's just, boring. So hard to keep up with the story now.

Definitely going to watch the finale though... Really hope Lana is in it.

I thought Season 9 was one of the best seasons in the show's history, but it definitely wasn't the best IMO. (so I see where you're coming from to a degree.)

Season 10 I think has been the weakest overall, BUT "Homecoming" (Ep. 200) I think may have been one of the best (if not, THE best) in the show's history and it's also had other eps. this season have provided some "OMG" highlights, like the return of Lionel and of course, the not-so-distant return of Lex.

PS. I really miss Lana too. Even if she doesn't come back, I'll never forgot that character.

I think this finale is going to be big. And I'm sure it will be a fitting end to an amazing 10 season run.

The best times on the show were with Lana, so I agree.

You need to check out Season 10 though, ASAP. Definitely some noteworthy moments.

Always hated Lana, the show just made it easier to hate her as it progressed. I'm glad we've got Lois and I'm glad she won't be in the finale.

The finale should be a progression, the steping stone to being Superman, so theoretically there shouldn't be a ton of past coming up even though that is the trend with shows ending. The finale should make me want another season not be happy it ended.

Downloaded episode 1 of season 1 on my iphone for kicks (have the first 7 seasons on dvd) but it's been so long since I've seen the first one..... wow was soo long ago can't get over how young everyone looked.
