Smith vs Washington

I'm not a big Denzel fan, but he ruled in American Gangster and Man on Fire.

Personally I can't even put these two together. I think Denzel is an amazing actor. I've never personally been a fan of Will Smith though.
I just always see him as Will Smith and not as a character where as with Denzel I don't. This can work both ways though for people.

I think Denzel is a much much better actor.

Man on fire is one of my fave movies though so I'm probably biased. :emperor

denzel by a million miles. not to say he hasn't made some dubious choices though.

They are about the same to me. Both have done good roles and bad. I didn't like it for awhile when they were giving Will Smith roles that he should never have had, such as Wild, Wild West.
