I got a new GUYVER!!! which i started saturday and absolutely love him on a TT. Im just waiting on some nice blue paint then he'll get finished.

My first ever custom fig was a different guyver vinyl kit and its ok but not as good as this kit, this kit was meant to be on a 1/6 body its perfect.

My WWII wolverine is getting there, i need to make some bone claw fists for him and give him a weee slap of paint

I had a vinyl garage kit of the Guyver years back. Probably the same one you mentioned. I always liked the design, never saw the anime.

Cheers guys, vinyl kits can be great for making decent figs although boiling then cutting up a vinyl kit is a pain but well worth it. The most expensive piece for this is the hot toys TT

I have a Geometrics Worf that would make a great 1:6. I should make a mold of the head.

Yeah that worf head and the bat'leth would look sweet. You could grab some loose star trek clothes and he'd be done in no time.

I didn't like the bat'leth they included with the kit, it was very warped. I made my own. I'd have to make yet another new one now. I could make a mold around the sash, but I'm uncertain the best way to cast it.

Couldn't you have just boiled it then reshaped it or is it 1 of those hard kits that snap easily?

It would be simple to reshape it to be flat but then what do I cast it in? A resin casting would snap.
