Nice Cap figures. I always dug the classic shield shape. I hope it makes an appearance in the new movie.

There were some cool designs for Captain America and Captain Britain in "The Ultimates Vol. 2" if anyone is looking for inspiration.

I could sculpt the head mask etc nps but the bodysuit is my main issue atm.

Oh your so gonna have fun with this m8 it nearly drove me potty getting the camo so i was happy with it lol. Worse case send it to me i'll sort it out for ya, not that you cant paint i know u can your bloody good, its just know how busy you are

Now for my speeder I want to do Luke and Dacks... so I am getting the parts together for him. I just need a SS Yavin Luke coat if any one has one as I realised when I was doing my research all snowspeeder pilots have the same outfit as Luke.

I have some more marmit gloves cast and some snow boots.
I have just finised his helm... and chuff me it was a toughy!!!
I resprayed a tomy helm white... dropped on the floor in the shed... got covered in sh... sawdust not to pleased with myself

so sanded it down again! and respray number two.

Now as far as I can tell Dacks helm is just white with blue insignia.. easy peasey........ NOT so tough but had to hand paint it... turned out ok.

We never saw Dack's feet. He might have the black boots. Many of the Echo Base background pilots were wearing the black boots rather than the mukluks

The Hasbro 3 3/4 has snow booties on so I am gonna go with that I think.

Thats awesome!!! Love the uni. and the webgear, Dorg! I had one I was working on but never finished him. May have to take another look at it cause yours looks great!

Also, I had seen you mention something in regards to rotocasting in another thread. Could you explain how to rotocast pieces?

That helmet looks good mate. Did yous just spray around the insignia on the sides or did you hand paint that also??

cheers Chris and yep I sprayed the hoe thing. i sanded off as much of the original coloured part and left the rebel insignia and side strips. then when I sprayed it i could just about see then through the thin stray coat. then used then as guide lines... but it took chuffin ages...

As for roto casting Mando.. I believe its just a term used for rotating the cast whilst the resin cures. That way you can get holo casts. most of the helms I cast are rota cast and many of the heads.

I'm sure you guys already know this but the 501st Legion and the Rebel Legion costuming group websites are awesome for uniform reference.

Also, it says that every pilot shown onscreen were in black boots except for Luke and Wedge who were both shown wearing the snow style mukluk type.

Just finished painting my final Luke...

poor light atm and my tripod is in the shed and its cold and wet and dark so that where it can stay!!!
