X-23 will be my first Bowen statue, and my last. I'm actually going to sell it once it arrives. The more I look at it, the more I see wrong with it. To me, to me, to me. Anyone else may think it looks great! I just don't. Seriously, blades out of just one hand? Rubbish.

I have a problem with the tall base and hair is off to me...although I do hope to pick one up later if the paint looks good...perhaps yours with a giant discount? :yess:

your first bowen?

my condolences :rotfl

Be nice, ink :monkey3

tbh I think that Bowen is actually more adictive than SS. Smaller, cheaper (well, until very recently) and little chance of running out of display or storage space...

I still remember my very first Bowen. Moonknight.

Loved that piece soooooo much; I may even have shed a tear when I let him go. You know what they say about your first! :monkey2:monkey2

Glad I'm not alone after reading Buffy's post, just can't get into Bowen or even Koto's :( Wish I could b/c that's all the local comic shops have in stock :lol

Considering I'll have to pay a fortune for sideshow's x-23, I'll need to charge more if possible for Bowen's.

I don't mind selling her at retail. But I wont lose money on her. You know? I'd want to sell her for what I paid. :D

Not to bowen bash but one of my first statues was bowen's Archangel and although i really like it, compared to my SSC comiquettes the quality is lacking in comparison.

I actually hate that light up feature. It's unrealistic. If it's supposed to be a hologram, Wolverine shouldn't be able to stand on it.

So exactly how is it a "Danger Room", if everything is a hologram? It's because underneath the hologram is a physical device capable of doing real damage (or being stood on, in this case). Geek-out complete!

I finnally recieved my first bowen statue it was the stealth iron man, as soon as the wife got home from work i showed it to her displayed among my sideshow marvel stuff. Her first words where " it looks like your real iron man statues won a grammy. Referring to my new bowen piece, I almost laughed myself to death. Im sure it wont be my last bowen piece but when being put in perspective like that and they dont cost much less then sideshow, most of the time kinda made me wonder... ( i will be buying the new thor pieces though) sorry for the rant but i had to share :)

Congrats man! It only took 1 Bowen statue for you to see how bland these offerings really are, the new Thor release included, just take a closer look. Welcome to the light. And for the collectors who are still "bamboozled" by the bowen cookie cutting machine(?), this is only my opinion,................... of course.
