basically the buyer gets to rule the transaction on ebay. but what's stopping you from giving him a positive and bashing him in the feedback posting?

Yeah, thats all you can do. I just need to remember to look at the actual feebacks instead of just seeing the # or % and thinking they are ok.

This fool won my AVP series 1(full set of 6) and on the 7th day after the auction has ended said "Oh sorry i have over spent this week, will pay ya next week ok."

Thing is needed some of the money to pay my ebay fees. Can't relist any item till my fees are payed.So if the d^^^head don't pay i can't relist it.

I hate deadbeat buyers.

I pay with paypal, so I pay my auctions within minutes to hours after I've won.

I've had very good luck buying, no horror stories yet. I haven't sold anything on ebay but plan to in the near future and I won't tolerate any shenanigans.

I just sold my HT Begins figure and I'm pretty sure they buyer (in the UK ) is going to flake on me. The auction ended last Sunday and I gave him a shipping quote on Tuesday... haven't heard back from him yet.

This new eBay feedback system is really just going to screw over sellers... not buyers.

because buyers now feel they can do what they want thanks to this stupid system brought in by Ebay there is likely to be a lot more of this going on.

I had another person not pay for their goods the other week, it's just maddening, I went through the non-paying bidder system though so at east they end up with a strike!

same thing just happened with me when i sold my extra Wolf Predator. he won... then two days later sends me a message saying that he can't pay until the following week when he gets a paycheck. i say ok... then he sends me another message saying it will be another couple days. then when he finally does pay.... he has the nerve to email me two days later asking why its taking so long for it to arrive.

How did you pay? File a dispute with Paypal right away, get Ebay involved too!

File the claim through ebay, don't waste any time! You only have upto 45 days.

Both will respond...I've had the best luck filing a paypal claim..They will investigate and the seller will need to prove that he has shipped it (eg. tracking number, etc..) If he can't paypal will refund the money and take it up with him...Alot of times this will help force the seller to resolve the issue and if not you will get your money back.

Awesome, I will file that claim first thing in the morning and hopfully I do get a fix or atleast some answers. Thanx for the advice!!!

LMAO...that guy is a jerk. I had a guy win a late night auction some time back. He payed with Paypal within minutes. When I woke up in the morning at 8am I had a dozen emails from him. With each email he was was becoming more and more upset. He was calling me all kinds of names and threatening me because I was not responding to the emails from him about when I would ship the item.

Thanx for the advice ya'll the guy immediately responded to paypal, and my refund is now pending, he never shipped anything!!

I am still awaiting payment on my auction that ended last Friday. I'm getting pissed. The idiot has not even contacted me. Better yet, he has a score of 0. I've sent invoice to him everyday following the auction. ^^^^er sure as hell can't take a hint!
