Well crap in a hat... I guess I still have to wait until my 7 day complaint period ends before getting my refund. What a ******!

What makes me even more annoyed is that after filing the claim, he bothered to email me pretending he'd pay... what's wrong with some people!?!

I just got this email from ebay.co.uk regarding a Unwelcome and Malicious complaint I logged against this guy...
Hello,

Thank you for contacting us regarding feedback you received. My name is
Mary and I apologise for the delay in responding.

Sorry to hear of the problems your having with this member
superheroesandme who I have just reported upto our Trust & Safety team
to investigate. I'm going to offer you a solution which will stop any
members for example with no feedback score such as this member from ever
bidding on your items again.

Starting from the 15th of May, sellers will no longer be able to leave
neutral or negative Feedback for buyers. However, we will be offering a
number of ways for sellers to prevent and handle problems that may arise
during transactions.

In addition to the current Buyer Requirements, we're enhancing the
Unpaid Item buyer requirement and adding new requirements to enable
sellers to block buyers with multiple policy breaches from bidding on,
or buying their items.

The buyer requirements tool enables sellers to prevent or limit the
buyers from bidding or buying their items if certain criteria are not
met. The criteria are:

-Buyer has no feedback score
- Buyer does not have a PayPal account
- Buyer has a recent Unpaid Item strike (new)
- Buyer is registered in a country where seller doesn't ship to
- Buyer has a recent eBay policy violations (new)
- Buyer who may have bid on several of my items and not paid for them

If you feel that a bidder may be untrustworthy, you can cancel their bid
and block them from bidding. We'll be increasing the blocked bidder list
from 1,000 to 5,000 User IDs.

If a buyer breaches an eBay policy, you should report them to eBay
Customer Support. We will investigate and take any appropriate action.
If a buyer is suspended, any negative or neutral Feedback they left for
others will be automatically removed.

For more information on changes to the feedback system, copy this link
into a new browser window:

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Kind regards,

Least that's something...

Yeah, I saw most of that when I read about the changes to feedback... so basically now people have strikes against them. I guess I'll have to change my preferences so I don't have to deal with idiots.
