I'm a photojournalist working for a conglomeration of community newspapers in the St. Louis area. There's a lot of waiting around involved, so I have all kinds of down time at my computer. Hence, the boards.

I also have a second job valet parking at an upscale restaurant/nightclub on the weekends. That's my car, car insurance, and polystone fund. :D

Pharmacy student working as a pharmacist intern at a national chain. Gonna be a full blown pharmacist(hopefully) less than 7 months from now.

I work with problem children in a youth detention center...but like Dave,Most of my work is done sitting at my desk taking a nap or posting here.

I did that for 10 years. I even ran a couple of centers in my time. Loved it for eight of those years and burnt out my last two. Now I work at a Head Start pre school as an advocate to the children's families.

I am an adult baby sitter. I am a correctional officer (fancy terminology for guard) at a state prison. Things are pretty bad, with many stabbing and assults weekly. Two officers killed in the past year. I have 3 years left and I'm outta there.(20 years in) I'll be a very happy ditch digger!

I'm an office worker at a Dermatologist clinic, I check in patients all day and file charts, etc etc....

Super busy office though... I never have time for anything else but work, so I do all of my posting from home....:lol

right now im still in school full time to hopefully become a social worker. im currently working the graveyard shift at a local 24 hour gym. its not bad considering the only responsibilities i have are to 1. make sure nobody comes in and robs the place, and 2. keep the place somewhat clean. it doesnt pay much, but im also getting scholarship/ GI Bill / Vocational Rehabilitation money.

~~~i also moonlight as a man-whore on the weekends....:monkey3
well.. i was a financial adviser, but about 10 years ago epilepsy made me stop working.
So after about 5 years of sitting on my arse getting bored watching telly all day, I decided to try painting (hadnt done it since i was in school.... and never oils). So after watching Bob Ross on the Discovery channel, i figured "that looks easy.... that might be a nice hobby"
and here I am trying to make a living out of it. I've sold landscapes and abstracts to people here in the UK but oddly most of them have gone over to the States. Also done a few portraits, the last one going to California
(and I'm increasingly building up a nice side line in doing custom figures for people... which has got me interested in doing my own sculptures. It's great the way things work out, one thing leading to another)
Here's the last portrait I did, about 3 feet wide on a thick box canvas
