Gotta be Gandalf, but like others I'm wondering how far to go beyond the fellowship. Faramir, Eomer, Elrond and the 3 girls, plus Saruman. but that would be it!!!!

I mean I will really have to have self control!

(Funny I said something similar about Star Wars)

(and Buffy)

(and the X files)

(and Bond)

I want the Hobbits... because after we get one.. I will sleep better knowing they can be done!!!!

Until then I am weary about the 12" LOTR line!!!

Where's Gimli. Since I know for sure he nor any of the hobbits will be out for a while Im going with Gandalf the Grey. What would be cool is if the Hobbits and Gimli were all shown at Comic Con and they were able to be bought as a bundle that weekend. I would love for all of them to be released at once. They really need to get this line going.

I think Eomer would be cool.
Voted for Lurtz though, as I like to stick to the same scale.
Love to get the statues not done by Weta first.:D

Here's some math hotshots...

This year, only 4 figures have been announced in the line. If we're lucky, we can expect 5 figures next year. That means the Fellowship can't be completed for at least the next TWO YEARS -- with expected characters like Saruman, Ringwraith, Arwen, etc dragging out the completion.

So, are you in for the long haul? And I do mean long?

Wor-Gar,
I am in for a penny, in for a pound, and that counts the PF figures too. I know it will take years to complete either collection, but that is also part of the fun of the hobby. Some of it is just knowing that you are signing on for a while, and the instant gratification isn't an issue. It will be seriously outweighed by the amazing collection of a PF fellowship or 1/6 scale Nazgul.

I still want to see the Ringwraith next, so I can decide what I might have to spend to get nine of the suckers...'cause I am a lunatic!

I know, I'm just impatient I guess. And when I worked it out, it kind of freaked me out.

I have to say though, I like it better when SS starts a line with several characters at once (like they did with Bond or T2).

A Nazgul or some villain would definitely keep my interest up. Like SW was before Maul, hero after hero is kind of boring... especially when you only get a character every three months.

I voted Orc because I'd like the Orc from Return of the King with the skull on his head (not-Gothmog)! :rock Everyone even non-LotR fans would buy that figure.
