I think it looks way better than any of the previous Jabba items... the Attakus or Illusive Concepts version. Does anyone know what Jabba is made of yet? Is he rotocast... or something gelatanous?

It breaks my heart, but you "could" cut out IC Jabba's tongue and attach it to your SS Jabba.

That's IF SS Jabba is soft plastic (to open his mouth a bit). What is he made of anyway?


Why not make IC Jabba's tongue articulating? He's hollow -- well, stuffed, with a soft skin outside -- easy to rebuild.

I'm thinking Jabba is probably rotocast, in which case he could probably be altered if needed. Frankly, I'm in love with the proto. If the final version turns out that good, I won't change a thing.

And I'm betting a lot of that throne will indeed be polystone. He's The Lawgiver of Star Wars (shout out to ma Apes)!!!

This is a good omen for that Emperor's Throne I'm hoping for. SS has blown my expectations and produced something i never thought I'd see. I can't wait to see more and find out more about how they did it. I wonder who did the sculpt.

I'm still hoping the tail is somewhat poseable...at least as much as Kit's dreads are.

This really opens up the possibilities (as mentioned in another thread) and its a little scary. The more I think about it, the more I find myself justifying dropping for this set. For a long time I had been planning on just getting the IC, but that Jabba is just spot-on... even the back(?)fat on him looks right!

Lord help me, I will get it all! Where the hell will I put Jabba right now, I am not sure! He looks awsome. The price of $350 for all of it seems about right to me - considering that is one PF price, it is comparable that way.

Y'know, with Jabba on my shelf, I doubt I'll be thinking about them too much. I've got so little space, I need to focus my collecting on the things i really love, not just stuff I think is neat. Terminators and zombies are neat. I have three Jasons that I really enjoy. Each successive Jason I got made the last one less special. It was time to stop with that line. I think better Terminators are forthcoming. And I'm really not that into zombies. I got caught up in the exclusivity, so it's better he should go to someone who really wants him.
