Re: Han Solo (May 25th, 2018)

Before Vader Force grabs the gun he'll deflect several blaster bolts into nearby Rodians who are struggling to draw their weapons. The dead Rodians will then fall off a gantry, down a shaft and through a grate into the mouth of a Sarlacc that will burp, explode and then completely disappear as it becomes one with the Force.

:lol prolly will be close!

When God, when will you reveal the greatness that is RO to the OT fans whom hath been blinded and deceived by the awfulness of the PT.

Please God openth their eyes and ears as this is the path to their hearts and their salvation.

I think that if TLJ doesn't open some people's eyes to the greatness of RO then the HS movie definitely will, lol.

:lol :lol

Yeah if Greys don't do it then lego opie Han will definately set forth in motion the great Exodus across the desert to the OT-RO holy land lol.

Re: Han Solo (May 25th, 2018)

RO could have been great.

But if your reasoning for not liking RO is based solely on your wish that it was more brutal/dark (with Galen shooting innocent women between the eyes and whatnot) then how do you reconcile the OT and TFA where all four films, including ESB, are much lighter than even the theatrical cut of RO.

I mean I get that everyone has their preferences and that RO may very well not be your cup of tea but it seems like if your issue is simply that the tone wasn't dark *enough* then you'd have to write off the entire OT and TFA as well.

Michael Kenneth Williams’ Role Cut From ‘Star Wars’ Han Solo Movie Amid Reshoots

Williams said the revamped production schedule conflicted with his commitment to spy drama The Red Sea Diving Resort, his new movie now shooting in South Africa with Ben Kingsley and Chris Evans.

“I felt great about what I created with the directors that I worked with,” said Williams, who was cast in the Han Solo origin story by original helming duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who exited in June. “It is what it is.”

When Ron Howard got hired to finish out the film, there were some reshoot issues that needed to be done in regards to my character, in order for it to match the new direction which the producers wanted Ron to carry the film in,” Williams told Deadline. “And that would have required me on a plane a month ago to London, to Pinewood, to do reshoots. But I’m here, on location in Africa. It’s scheduling. I’m not going to be back on the market until the end of November after [his SundanceTV series] Hap and Leonard, and for them to wait that long for me, that would have pushed back the release date, which I believe is in May 2018. They wanted me now; I couldn’t go. So they had to clip-clip-clip.

Plot and character details had been kept under wraps, but Williams said he played a half-human, half-animal in the film and that “we created a kick-*** character, in my opinion. I’m proud of it.”
