It is like i told solidus. you guys are never here, and when you DO post all you do is either complain or bring up old drama that is gone (spazz i mean come on Get Over it) or criticize people. you talk about hostility but you only show up to post negative stuff or complaining. like if you had a grudge or something
No i wasn't talking about myself i never care what you have to say negatively really. you could be a cool dude but you always seem to have a chip on your shoulder about this place and the people in here.

I still am opimistic it will be decent

The trailer didn't do much for me, but there's still a part of me that's optimistic - and also hoping it's good.

I'm so ready for something that feels very Star Wars-y. I didn't love RO at all, but it was definitely a Star Wars-y feeling movie.

The trailer didn't do much for me, but there's still a part of me that's optimistic - and also hoping it's good.

I'm so ready for something that feels very Star Wars-y. I didn't love RO at all, but it was definitely a Star Wars-y feeling movie.

This does seem to have the same feel, I'm ok with that given the other side of that coin is What we got last

I never wanted this movie to be made, Han Solo being kind of, sacred ground to me, but I have to say, the trailer looks really good.

most movies even end up dying. look at the jumanji thread or look at some of the other movie threads, after a couple of days maybe a week they die.
so even if you wanted to talk seriously about them they end up dying. even hated movies like Bright barely had any posts. look at the shape of water.
Even pacific rim 2 thread is dead. or look at annihilation

this is not a good place for serious deep movie conversation regardless of being a **** show. only the big blockbusters get any traffic. Thats why i like to have fun sometimes. because posting funny things gets the ball rolling and gets you guys posting at least

it might not LITERALLY happen every time Rushmore posts. but I have caught a couple of his posts that felt like looking down at us in the mud pile (thats why i mentioned chakor because he did that a couple of times) Obviously Rushmore doesnt post complaining every single day... obviously no one does that literally.

But you are absolutely correct in that this place is not for serious deep talk about movies, not the way he hopes for. this is a toy forum after all. we are lucky that dave let us talk about movies to begin with. we DO talk about movies (look at ready player one thread) but everyone is also trying to make each other laugh.
The way i see it is, if you are nice to me I am nice to you.

Trust me, I'm well aware of what this forum is like, I've been coming here for nearly 10 years.

I enjoy the humor of many people, some I don't. I'm sure the same can be said about me.

This forum took an ugly turn recently, hopefully it recovers. If I didn't think it would, I wouldnt have ever come back.
