Examples of crap:

1) Han Solo accidently sets a young Boba Fett on course to become the galaxy's most feared bounty hunter

2) Jabba the Hutt saves Han Solo when he needs help

3) Becket gives Solo his signature black vest

4) Val gives Chewbacca his signature crossbow

5) Actually having the Kessel run in this movie

I agree with 1-4. But it was always a given that the Kessel run was gonna be there. And I really don’t see the big deal. It was just a throwaway line to make the falcon seem really fast. Nothing really sacred to ruin.

6) Post credit scene of Han smuggling cargo for Jabba, but having to jettison it when he thought he was going to be boarded by Imperial forces. Cue ANH.

Throw away line that got science completely wrong and thus became the very first "faux pas" of Star Wars.

Also, I agree, it was supposed to be a throw-away line, so why actually spend 20 minutes seeing it?

Lastly, I always imagined it was Han's "modifications" and supped-up nature of his Falcon that allowed him to win the Kessel Run -- but if he just gets the Falcon from Lando in this movie, then its really Lando's Falcon that wins (Han's just piloting).

I find it impossible to believe or even think Solo could actually be any worse than TLJ.... Alas, if it does suck....

In the words of the great and wise Jedi Jocasta Nu from AOTC : “If an item does not appear in our records, it does not exist.” Or in my case, "If the movie is not on my shelf, it does not exist".

So, either you own a copy of TLJ, or you complain all day about imaginary things?
