Ah, well money doesn’t count for much if it’s horrible.
It may even flop after all the switch-ups, i’m not sure what Solo’s overall budget is. Sicario did well, became a big sleeper hit the second has a bigger budget too (I hope that doesn’t turn it into a simple action movie) But it’s written by the guy who wrote the first Sicario and Hell or High Water and Directed Wind River which is surprisingly good.
No Denni V but I hope it’s good.

Tell that to the TLJ fans.
I liked Sicario until I started thinking about it. And the ending frustrated me.
But its a movie, style and world that has every opportunity to be much better in the sequel.

The entire 'plan' and shoot-out was a diversion so Benecio could snatch the traitor's cab to get a ride to the bad guy's base. Really?
The drug lord has like 3 guys out front guarding him on a night where his family is there and a known traitor is coming over for dinner. Really?
Then, in order for the cover-up to work, they need the signature of the rookie? Really?

Yeah, as much as I normally like Benecio Del Toro in movies, his character in TLJ is completely forgettable.

Early reactions are saying that it gets off to a slow start for the first 45min to an hour, but once it gets into the main Kessel heist plot it picks up. Mostly the word ‘fun’ is being used. The reception to Alden seems pretty mixed but everyone loves Glover as Lando. One thing mentioned a lot is that there are some huge twists that will ‘leave jaws on the floor.’ A few comparing the film to RO, and a few saying not to worry it’s nothing like TLJ. One also mentioned that the creature/alien design is fantastic, nothing like what we got in TLJ.
Again early reviews can’t always be trusted but it basically lines up with what I’m guessing everyone was expecting.
They released the casting sheet as well and Enfys Nest remains unlisted.
They also say it ends with a very clear opening for more movies to take place after. (Which we already knew since Alden’s signed on for 3)
