Yeah they’re not gonna stop, this is only the beginning... it’s the SJW way... They don’t have enough talent to create something new and loved that would incorporate their ideas so they need to force it into already beloved things. They don’t even get hired on talent, only on their gender or ethnicity (the identity politics he referred to) or in this case nepotism with Kasdan’s son who made the remarks.
The thing is it usually backfires at some point when the regular fans walk away and the studio heads wisen up - this happened both in marvel comics and video games - but with KK in charge here... she may just let it go the whole way.
Also Jon references George in that twitter post - but George always said SW was aimed primarily at children. There’s a reason SW never even mentioned sex so far... and now it jumps straight to everything and anything goes lol
I know people were on opposing sides before but as this becomes more and more apparent as time goes on I hope SW fans will actually be able to stand together against this behaviour at some point, despite previous differences.
