The set looks great, I'll give them that. And I've always been a fan of Woody, so they got 2 things going for them. However I can totally see this movie being terrible.

Yes SW has been dragged through the mud enough (starting with the Holiday Special) that any future screw ups will just be added to the pile, lol. As we've said before after the OT and RO everything else is gravy. And now I even have TFA if I want to see Han in a modern SW flick.

Since Disney is seemingly holding fast to releasing this movie just 10 months from now I'm guessing that it's success isn't that huge a priority to them. Either way I'll be there opening weekend with everyone else, lol.

I'm sure it will better than Fantastic Four and Amazing Spiderman. So that's something at least.

Dunno, I'm optimistic about watching it. I find it difficult to believe it'll be worse than some of the cbm that I sat thru.

Ford is and will always be Solo but he was always dismissive and grumpy about the character. I'm ready for new blood bringing a new perspective. It may or may not be any good but it keeps the series alive which I'm ok with.

Gotta break a few eggs fellas....without ongoing series I wouldn't have gotten R1 which (for me) was a godsend

It has a slight guardians of the galaxy feel to it. Solo looking slightly Starlord like.

I'm going to cringe watching that actor trying to be Ford being Solo and what's even worse is he will probably be channeling the crappy Ford being the crappy Solo version lol.
