Punisher WIP new pics

So I've ordered a hot toy s truetype body, a Black superhero body suit, a pair of rambo's black pants, a Triad toys Knight rider 2.0 trenchcoat. I've got him his hands, and a few guns. there are only two things left for my punisher custom figure. He needs a hot toys compatable head, As well as I need to find a way to put a skull on ihis chest. My IDEAL headsculpt for the punisher would have been the Hot toys Lincolin Burrows Prison break headscuplt

and then simply add some hair to it. However, I can't find one by itself. I personaly prefer the head and neck to be separate like the lic figure, but i'll take what I can get. My second choice, and What I'll likely end up doing, as I can get the figure kinda cheap Is this guy

those are my plans for now, anyways. Allthough, If ANYONE has any suggestions for alternate heads, i'd GLADLY ttake suggestions. Or if anyone has a source on a Lincolin burows, that would also Rock.

SOmething else i need to find are a set of left and right leg Drop down holsters for his .45's I can find Right leg holsters, but Left leg HOlsters are so very rare. any help there?

And lastly, I need to figure out a way to put the skull on his chest. Right now, my plan is a fabric useable paint pen. however, if anyone has any other good sugestions, Please share them. I'll be posting pics as His parts arrive and I'm assembeling/paingint him.

Hello!!
I would like to made one (so bad) with some help...like real from HOT TOYS versions...Chris Howe can made the head.:D

Do an ebay search for 12" heads then narrow it down to action figures as the category. There are usually at least a half dozen or so of the prison break heads, both Hot Toys and knockoff asain market ones (and they're less expensive) all the time.
As for his skull, I use this one, printed on self-adhesive printable material.

if your going to use a skull use the comic book version! not the one from the 2004 film version!

so much better

Second Question directed back at Ironman1188, I did the search you suggested, but I found none of the heads parted out. I did find one custom burrows, but it's not very good, and it was a bit too much. If I'm gonna go Linc, I want an original one I think :) SO if you find one, LMK?

I use June Tailor Fabric-Stick adhesive back inkjet fabric sheets. This is the first time i haven't found a bunch of Purcell heads. I did find this one:

You could also cut around that logo with an exacto knife with a new sharp blade and use it as a stencil. I have done that in the past. The trick is to daub the paint (acrylic works) on with a fairly dry brush, especially around the edges of the stencil. This method allows you to go for anything from a worn, beat-up looking logo (less paint) to a fresh, crisp logo (more paint). Paint all the white then take the skull with the eyes cut out and place that in the right position on the white portion and use some black acrylic paint to put the eyes in.

Yeah, i saw that one, but at that price, I'd rather just buy a whole figure, and get an extra Truetype out of the deal. About how much do the heads usualy go for when you've looked for them in the past?
Also, i just found this, and I'm considering using it for the skull. what do you think?

I've seen the "knock-offs" going for between $10 and $15, but they do lack some of the detail. For a "custom", resin head that is not too bad a price, especially pre-painted, which is a big plus for me as my painting skills are somewhat lacking.
I would contact the seller on those vinyls and ask if they are intended for auto use or if the could be used for what you are looking to do.

By painting the skull on the fabric you can control the outcome a little better to get the look you want.

wow that looks really good... I may stick to my painting idea as that looks alot better than I thought it would. someone else also mentiond using a tshirt transfer. would that work with the spandex bodysuit i wonder...

I didn't have any pictures handy but that is what I was getting at in my post about painting on the T-shirt. I have done it on several Punishers and had great success with it. You can also age the logo (if you feel it has too much white) by dry-dabbing black paint onto the skull which gives the impression that Frank Castle has hand painted the skull on his shirt and worn it so long that the paint has started to crack and wear off. This is one of my Punishers with a hand painted logo:

ok, i might just go with evilface's suggestion in the thread in the marvel forum and use his vinyl decal, my only question with them is this, anyone know how well the vinyl will stick to the spandex?

Some WIP shots I took with the head on the body. I just applied the skull decal, and i'm letting it adhere fully before i take more pics. so teaseres for now. cometns?

I'll post em tommorow, after i get home from work ( graveyard shift, YAY)
The skulls seem to be adhereing nicely to the bodysuit. I wasn't sure if i should put it on the suit with him wearing it or not, so i Tried it that way first. there is some wrinkling around the edges of the eyes, and a little bit above the eyes, but nothing too terrible. It looks pretty good IMO. I just hope it adheres like I think it will :)
