anyone consider the possibility of stolen goods? after all, the seller had no feedback and didn't answer any of my questions before the auction on the trolls closed. maybe he was just looking to dump 'em and make a quick buck.

Police reported of seeing a man, making a some what slow get away, carring what an eye witness called 'ugly garden gnomes"

Or what, the theif had enough time to break in, find the statues, locate the box, careful pack it all away and make a 'light' footed get away

The other possibility is it could be an estate sale, the people doing the selling had no idea, maybe did a basic web search and found initial product listings with original sale price, noticed it was sold out and added a bit more to it.

Still, in the end, chances are we will never know.

it clearly says the seller ended the auctions early. im sure an outside deal was made and he didnt get the items at those prices. case closed.

I share your opinion. I don't think anybody got "a helluva deal".
