I'm surprised we're getting any figure at all, considering how Moore is NOTORIOUSLY anal about toys.........

I think the NECA thing worked because DC Farmed it out to a Licensor.....Moore doesn't like the idea of DC making money on his writing.....

That's the truth! It was disappointing that the Watchmen figures were given the ax during development.

you and I both....

I wouldn't mind buying a set of customs of the characters, but I ain't got the funding for it......

I'd do 'em myself, but I've got too many other irons in the fire...

I just finshed watching this movie(at work, love my job) and I MUST have a SS V figure!! This movie kicked royal ass and I would be VERY VERY happy to own a V figure...You here that SS.........

Dont make me start another crusade:D ...or should I call it Vusade..no that doesn't really work does it. See Krusade works, but not Vusade...Well maybe if you know what I'am talking about, but if you don't its not really gonna make that much sence. Am I rambling?

Anyway I want a V figure bad now!!!

I would LOVE to see this happen. The exclusive could be a seperate set of ungloved hands, his apron, and a pan of egg and toast. :lol

But seriously, I just watched this movie for the first time last week, having read the book a few months ago, loving it, and hearing that Moore had dis-associated himself with the film didn't give me much hope. So Idelayed viewing it.

Having seen it, I can see why Moore cut himself out, as it is not a page-for-page re-telling, which seems to be the only way to make the man happy. But seriously, they took less liberty with V then they did with LOTR. I think he should be very happy the film turned out as well as it did. The message is still there, and, in spite of the added love relationship, I think V himself remains pretty much the same character he was in the book.

I'm sure someone will do a kitbash when the 12" model comes out. I know I'd love to, personally.
