Sure. Jax wanted to switch charters and Gemma didn't want him to but everyone else did. They took a vote and Jax was voted out. Gemma told Jax and Clay to meet at the house so they did. And she told them what happened to her and it got Jax and Clay back on the same page. Jax isn't leaving now, he is stay and the club is going after Zobelle and his crew.

I thought it was interesting towards the end, they way they set up the shot, they gave Jax the choice of picking up the gun or his patches. That choice says a lot, that the MC is more important than revenge.

I'm pretty sure Jax is smart enough to know he'll need more than just a handgun to get revenge. :D

What I was wondering was what was Piney going to do? They made a point of showing him staring at his gun on the table.

"Corm, corm, corm!"

I believe he did the same thing (have a gun out and staring at it) towards the end of the first season. Looks like Piney might be suicidal.

The other thing that I thought was interesting was the way in which the club voted. They told us it had to be a unanimous vote, and everyone voted 'yay', but the body language of everyone in the room was saying 'nay'. It's like they were just giving their brother what he wanted, despite how they felt about it.

Yeah like how Bobby voted yay and then turned away when Jax cut the patches off.

I didn't see it that way at all....wasn't that Clay's gun by the patches? If so, why would he take Clay's gun?

It was just a metaphor. The camera was fixed on that little box by the door, with the gun and his patches, with Jax walking into the frame. It was just showing that Jax had two options, he could grab a gun and make some violence, or grab his patches and stick with the club.

I don't think it was that deep. The decision upon seeing it was his decision to now remain.

We all know the violence is coming.

Hence the "We Kill Them All" line.

I don't even know if we have 2 or 3 eps left this season but I can't wait. I hardly ever get like this but I am in such anticipation for them to get vengence.

I agree. All this Kitty Kat Footing around all season... It's time for some action !

I thought it was a cool touch when Jax touched Clay's shoulder ...

Why do you think he left though... just to give them some time together probably?

Yeah, I think he needed to clear his own head and emotion and knew they needed the same thing. Gemma got them back on the same page now so it'll be great when they start whooping ass!

Yeah that is where the story really takes off. Looking forward to it for sure.

 You're reading way too much into that. Jax ALWAYS carries a gun on him. So there would be no reason for him to pick up another gun and as 316what pointed out, it was Clay's gun.

That shot and it's meaning was simple: Jax could've just left and stuck with his decision to go nomad, seeking revenge on his own for what happened to his mom. Or he could swallow his pride, take his patches back and remain with SAMCRO and seek revenge with his "family". He chose the latter. Which is typical: nothing brings a family closer together than tragedy. Which was Gemma's intention for finally telling Jax and Clay about her being brutally gang raped.
