Sutter tweeted that there will be big news about the finale on Monday.

2:1 odds it's two hours, 10:1 it's the series finale.

I'm realizing there's only 3 eps left. . . crazy, this season has flown by. I'm saying the cartel kills Tara in 4:10 Jax finds out Clay was behind it, he kills Clay in 4:11, and in 4:12 we deal with that fallout, SAMCRO with a dead prez and over the break we're left to ponder on if Jax chooses to rebuild SAMCRO or leave it for good and realizes it's not the life he wants.

What I'd really like to see is Jax kill Clay, Tig kills Jax, Opie kills Tig, but I know that would never happen. Or maybe it will. . .

We already know they don't kill tara. In the season preview, we see Jax cuddling with her saying "Clay has to die." That hasn't happened yet.

But I do think Swede's onto something about a season finale being about the club itself. This season has gone too far into the negative to end with Clay living for another one. But if this is based on Hamlet, then Jax too, has to die at some point.

We already know they don't kill tara. In the season preview, we see Jax cuddling with her saying "Clay has to die." That hasn't happened yet.

but Jax just says "Clay's days are numbered" which we've already seen.

I highly doubt that they shot stuff that far ahead to make it into the season preview. The stuff they showed in the previews was only stuff from the first two episodes. They don't film THAT far ahead. They finished filming for the finale on October 21 or sometime thereabouts. So, to time their filming vs air dates, they're about a month ahead. Not enough lead time to have something air in the season preview two months ago.

Next week's episode is titled "Burnt and Purged Away", a quote from a scene in Hamlet. In the scene Hamlet is confronted by the ghost of his father who tells him his uncle Claudius killed him. He asks Hamlet to avenge him.

It would seem Jax is about to find out what's in the letters.

I can't wait to see Jax cap Clay. This is gonna be so outrageous.

I'm honestly surprised Clay let Gemma live. You have to assume that Clay KNOWS Gemma will tell the secret now, especially after he beat the ____ out of her. I guess that backpack that Clay had at the end was full of cash and Clay's leaving town??

I just realized we're starting to see Tara (Ophelia) go crazy, which mirrors Hamlet nicely. Will she overdose on pain-killers and off herself due to the grief of her career ending injury??

My guess is we get all three in a room, Gemma tells Jax, Jax confronts Clay, Clay kills Gemma, Jax kills Clay, Opie sees Jax kill Clay, and Opie kills Jax. They set this groundwork already, but Opie will feel betrayed by Jax, he left the club, lied to Ope, I remember back in the earlier season Opie says 'they' made Clay, he can't be blamed for the decisions he makes. So, I think the show has 'earned' Opie killing Jax in a moment like that.

I dunno, just a thought. I don't know how many more seasons, if any, Hunnam has signed on for, but let's just have fun and assume that press was leaked for misdirection.
