This season is too intense. Just when I thought this episode was a cruiser, it turns into a landmine in the very last 10 seconds.

What's weird is that the promo for next weeks episode doesn't mention anything about what happened in the end of this episode. Hmmm

did anyone freak a bit at the cut scene between the van & showing gemma and think that she was driving the van
carrying the guys that shot at jax and chibs
i did for a sec and was all............WTF??......:panic:
then just a few moments later again i was all...........WTF?....:panic:............:monkey2

Anybody think Juice had something to do with the van? That "Oh ****!" from the dude that got away kinda sounded like him and I can see him covering for Clay.

I don't know... I think he's pretty unhappy about what Clay is doing. I can't imagine him trying to kill Jax and Chibs just to protect him.

Loved Joel McHale's beat down by Nero. Jimmy Smits has been great.

Agreed. It seemed that Juice was nearly ready to let Jax know what he (Juice) knew about Clay. It seems highly unlikely Juice would try to kill Jax and Chibs. The obvious choice for the second guy is Frank.

First thing I thought was that it was that new dude who took over the one-niners. He didn't seem into that whole meeting with Jax and his associates.

Yeah, I appreciate the subtle yet not very subtle way they're showing that Jax is really not okay.

Also, this episode was titled "Ablation", having no idea what that meant, I looked it up. . .

Ablation is removal of material from the surface of an object by vaporization, chipping, or other erosive processes

I thought that's a cool idea. Just that metaphor of chipping away at the surface.

Jax has become a much colder, more dangerous character since
Opie was killed.

He's lying to himself about ever getting out of the club. He's more of a soldier today than ever before.

I keep getting the Feeling that he may leave the club and go with Pope. He is becoming more and more like Pope's charater. Not sure it will go that way just a hunch.
