I don't like how Jax stuck Wendy after her trying to live a normal life, thats messed up. But I guess giving an x-junkie a shot is no where close to other bad **** Jax has done...I don't know, I always kind of liked him for being a "good guy" in the midst of bad ****, but now he's pretty much like Clay.

That would probably piss Pope off a lot haha...

Btw, I kind of missed the scene where Jax met Tig outside towards the end. What was the conversation?

I wonder if Jax swaps Pope the hits and trades Tig for Clay.

The little nod he gives to Pope's right hand, has me thinking that Jax has something up his sleeve the audience doesn't know about.

He still wants revenge for Opie. I think it's all smoke and mirrors, his "friendship" with Pope.

I felt that was more out of respect. Pope has the contingency plan so any move Jax tried to make would get him, Tara and the kids likely killed and Pope's man already knows he'd be a dead man. I think he sees Pope as a "father figure" for lack of a better word, and a means to a legitimate end.

One of the best things about this show is it's never predictable. It's going to be a long wait after next week. Season five has been excellent.

There's an interview with Ron Perlman in which he talks about what Sutter is exploring this season is how power corrupts. Opie saw it, Jax knows it's happening to him, and he can't seem to stop, Clay lived through it, and came out the other side much worse for wear. He sees it happening to Jax and I believe Clay truly wants to stop it from corrupting Jax. . . perhaps that's why Clay wanted the gavel back, he didn't want to see Jax go bad.

Honestly Tuesdays episode made me really realize how much Jax is turning into a bad guy. Like Vareika I always saw him and liked him as the good guy who does bad things. I don't know why just him giving her that dose of drugs after her being sober is just really ****ed up. Yeah I know he has killed quite of few people so I don't know why that is the one scene that put it in perspective for me haha

I agree...not sure why...I think all the bad **** Wendy's been through is pretty tough, getting pushed and shoved by your ex husband and then sticking you with drugs after you finally got your life back. She was a bad mother no questions asked but Jax is honestly no good father lol...

On a side note, I also read an artcile on Entertainment where Pearlman said how he asked Sutter each filming whether today would be his "last day" and Sutter said that keeping him alive had apparently helped the show because fans wouldn't want to miss the episode that he was killed...haha..

As much as I like the show, I'd probably give my left nut NOT to be in the SOA club lol...

I didn't get that. I see Clay making a deal with the Irish and teaming up against Jax and SAMCRO since they voted him out. I think the reason Clay cried was he realized his kingdom was gone. I don't think his wanting the gavel back and his current whole mopey attitude has anything to do with Jax whatsoever.

I don't know how, but I think Tig survives next episode and follows Clay. Perhaps they split off the Irish club from SoA. It would fit the 'corruption from within' theme and set up the ultimate downfall of the club.

Well, what Perlman was getting at was that Clay's not a bad guy, or at least he's trying to put some motivation for why Clay ends up being an evil dude. He has to find a way to play Clay as a guy who doesn't think he's a bad guy, everything he does is for a greater good. . . unfortunately, most of the time Clay is the only one who sees it that way.

Clay's making that deal with the Irish to stay alive, I don't think it has anything to do with screwing Jax or SAMCRO. His original plan was to get the club back, he thought Jax was going to flush it all down the toilet. He was wrong, but it's too late at that point. I doubt he holds any grudge against those guys for voting him out. He would've done the same thing to anyone else who pulled those shenanigans against the club.

I'm guessing Tig and Juice both follow Clay. Juice needs an out from the club, especially after how Jax treated him in the prior episode. Clay knew Juice was looking for the paperwork, moved it, and still gave Juice the gun. He's manipulating Juice just like he does everyone else, and I think in the end Juice is going to look at leaving with Clay as his only option.

Juice spilled his guts to Clay and Clay gave him a pat on the back. "Everyone has secrets" and that was the end of it.

Jax blackmailed him just like Eli last season.

If there's a moment where Juice is given a choice I'd expect him to follow Clay.
